I was quite late again this week, but I finally caught the latest episode. This show continues to impress me. If I could name only one thing I love about this show, I would say that it's the theme of despair vs hope. It makes the villains that much more evil and Wizard that much more heroic. I can't get enough of it.

Just finished watching the sub, another cool episode. I do dig the amount of planning that went into breaking Shunpei, definitely makes it feel more personal and a lot more evil.

Although i do wonder if Haruto will ever fail or if there's enough phantoms knocking about due to the eclipse event that we can get through the series without actually birthing any new ones.

And again, as i said after skimming through the raw... What a kick =p

*Watching Kamen Rider Wizard, he pulls out his Kick Strike ring while riding the dragon

"Oh I see what's gonna happen, he's gonna jump off his dragon & rider kick the monster, how original"

*Dragon starts transforming

"Huh?"

*Dragon turns into giant foot

"Whaaaaaaaa!?"

*Wizard inserts his leg into it, wears it like a boot & does the most epic Rider kick I've ever seen

"YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!"

That pretty much sums up my feelings about this episode, & I'm really looking forward to the rest of Wizards adventures throughout this & next year.

Somebody's gonna put the Monty Python intro over that scene and do it up as a wacky YouTube video.

I sure hope they get on that soon.

I'd like to see Haruto legitimately fail too. He seems like a cool cucumber, it doesn't seem like there's much that would shake him save for that. And I really like that the monsters this year are particularly sadistic. They break someone down emotionally so that a monster can rip through their victim and enter the world, killing the Gate in the process... pretty horrifying. Almost Garo-esque in it's wtf-factor. I dig it.

I really, really enjoyed this episode, though in hindsight it makes me wish that Rinko received the same two-episode introduction that Shunpei got.
