Why do people hate it? Really the only issues I have is the fact that the two blue bits on my T Rex's chest(The part that become the mecha) had scratches in them before I got it(Can't do much) B the fact that Sabertooth does NOTHING outside of the hips C the fact that I don't know what to do with the Triceratops and Spider Mammoth(I'm Calling it that)'s feet after legs, or D the price I feel like they could've made the Pterodactyl and the Sabertooth $10 and it'dve been just as good

It's overly simple, partforms and is kinda ugly.
I think that sums up part of why this thing is hated. |

Plus they are suppose to be of Mighty Morphin and they just parts form with no transformation (not sure if folding the legs out of Mammoth and Triceratops or flipping down the head of Sabertooth count). Lack of paint I think. They look like they are copying Bayformer Dinobots. I think that was the rest of the reasons. I do know another issue I can think of after reviews is the connection between the Sabertooth and T-rex seems to be crappy. But they do seem to grow on people over time because I grew to really like the Triceratops and Spider Mammoth a lot to the point where I want them as a mount in a game.

I saw it in person yesterday and was flabberghasted by it's cheapness and simplicity. For comparrison, the Voltron lions cost less, are comparable size (though not when combined because of how lanky the Megazord is) have more paint, more articulation, the black lion has more sounds plus lights, and unless you count Green lion's sheild, no partsforming. Plus, they're an effective modern update of a classic design that still stays true to the source material whilst being new and distinct. |

Has Voltron been released in Canada? My hobby store has been selling it for 150 since December. Same price as the Megazord.

But most Megazord toys are $30, not $100+

And they don't partsform more than they transform.
I think it says everything that the "Battle Zords" are already marked down on TRU.ca. Not yet, sadly. March according to the TRU computers. |

The design doesn't exactly lend itself to toy form. That's my polite way of saying it's crap.
