Hacchaka has posted a pictorial review on the Beast Mantle set which ranges from the Falco, Buffa, Chameleo & Dolphi capes.

I gotta say, those unbroken flowing ones look really good. They almost look like real fabric.

Kinda glad I didn't spring for this, those broken ones look pretty bad. The single piece flowing ones are nice but not nice enough to drop the money for them.

I seriously wish -Arts figures went with a real fabric or pliable plastic for capes and mantles. Makes them look less like crap. I know it's more easily broken, but since Bandai makes it quite clear that the toys are marketed for adult collectors, I think they could take that risk...

I actually like that they went with plastic instead of cloth, cloth usually looks really shit in toy form, and since the plastic is molded it's usually in its most dramatic form at all times. Like the billowing cloak piece you get with Wizard makes him like infinitely more awesome.
Wasn't gonna bother with Beast but this Mantle Set looks awesome and really makes me want him.

I understand that Bandai sold them all seperately (My spelling is Epic) to make more money, but I really wish he would've come with one of them. It would've made Beast a must-buy. And I agree with Matrix to. They don't form into Chimera, so why couldn't the mantles by cloth?

It does seem weird how Bandai does this, some figures come with literally more accessories than you could ever ask for and others come with none at all. Using two recent examples of mine, Birth came with his blaster and four extra hands - rubbish! While Jason came with like nine thousand sets of hands, every form of his Blade Blaster, that Slingshot he only used once, his Power Sword and the Akibaranger parts. Like how can they both be figures from the same maker?

These really should've been included with Beast from the get-go...

Yeah, it's odd how they go about some characters. I guess for characters like Birth, they want to remove parts so they can sell a second parts set for full price...

It looks like I'm forced to grab Proto, even though he is an exclusive he is EVERYWHERE and yet the CLAW set I have seen nowhere.
