Shodo-X Wave 5 is Black and Black RX renewals and bikes.
Candy Toy BLOG They look nice, though it annoys the crap out of me that Black's back is still not painted at all. That's the main reason I would want a Black renewal. Black RX looks to be more of an improvement. Also, at the bottom of the blog we have more teases of future Shodo figures. Not sure what these might be. Might be some Showa stuff. Two parts look like columns. The big red thing might be Shocker's Great Leader. This might also be the new Shodo Rivals line they've mentioned in past blogs. This is super easy for me. Starting from top left: Agito Ground, Agito Trinity with weapons, Agito Burning or Shining (hard to tell which), Flame and Storm expansion set (I'm assuming to make Ground into one or the other, which is different for Shodo), Machine Tornador Side A, and Machine Tornador Side B. |

Top right on the show and panel is probably Shadow Moon. Colors match and the seems to be a sword next to him

Top left looks to be Skyrider, going off the green and brown. Either him or Amazon.

If I squint, I think the top left and top middle could be Gurongi, but that's probably wishful thinking. But man I would love it if the top left was Me-Garima-Ba/Mantis Gurongi.

On the Gurongi theme, middle definitely looks like N-Daguva. No idea what any of this means for bottom right, though.

I agree that it looks like N-Daguva, but I'm also not seeing any signs of the cape. Maybe that's what the extra parts are, I dunno.

How do these figures compare to figuarts? I like they way they look, aside from the lack of paint on the back.

Gemn and Build are SO-DO figures that are slightly taller than Shodo (they have different design philosophies to). Official heights of Shodo is 100mm to the top of Rider 1's helmet and SO-DO is 125mm to the top of Ex-Aid's hair.
Don't have any with a Figuarts scale figure, but here's some with a bunch of things including a GI Joe and a 5" Power Ranger. Last edited by Blade Raider; 04-01-2019 at 08:40 PM.. |
