A Tamashii Nations popup store is coming to New York later this week.
https://www.tamashiinations.com/popup/ny2021/ I kind of doubt there will be anything new shown here, but I do plan to visit and will report back. The Twitter post says there will be "exclusive and rare items to fans and collectors for a limited time!"

I'm hoping Brave Dragon will be available there. Edit: whoops did not mean to derail this thread, I mistook it for the general Figuarts thread. I'm happy to see Shinkocchou Seihou open up to other franchises! *cough* Metal Heroes *cough*

I just realised - if they're bringing the franchise into Shinkocchou Seihou, do you think we'd see a renewal of Ultraman himself?
I know he hardly NEEDS one, and he only came out 5 years ago, and they haven't been terribly shy about re-issuing him... but it'd be weird to do a Seihou Ultraman line without, well, Ultraman, right? Granted, it did take about 3 years for Seihou to do Rider 1; but Showa Ultraman merch seems to get a lot more attention than its contemporaries in Rider and Sentai. |

The current Ultraman that the SHF is based on is in fact C-type, and they have actually released an A-type SHF before! But when it comes to Seihou it would be an all new mold.

That... would be fantastic, if only because of how much he goes for these days. Like I don't even care that much what improvements would be made; as far as I'm concerned it would be a re-issue

Well Tamashii Nation is separate from Bandai Hobby which does the Gunpla stuff unless you mean the Metal Build Gundam figures.

Tiga goes up for pre-order next Monday, March 8th in Japan.
The figure will feature "soft materials" so something along the lines of Seihou Kamen Rider Black probably. Accessories are 6 replacement left and 5 replacement right hands, Zeperion Ray effect piece, replacement color timer and a "special" booklet. Probably a little behind the scenes booklet they used to include with the first couple of Shinkocchou Seiohu releases. https://hobby.dengeki.com/news/1197904/ |
