I don't feel like writing a review of AOU because I'm lazy. It was decent. I felt it was too heavily edited, with plots popping up and characters going along with it far too quickly, and I think if there's a Director's Cut, it'll be much better. Still enjoyable, but I do wish Black Widow got to kick more ass. The expansion on Hawkeye's character was appreciated, though.
I do have a question, though. Where is the Aether/Reality Gem? The Tesseract/Space Gem is on Asgard, the "Orb"/Power Gem is protected by the Nova Corps, and the Mind Gem is contained within the Vision. But where is the Aether? It was given to the Collector for safekeeping, but his collection was destroyed. Does he still have it despite his place being in ruins?

It should still be in the posessio of the Collector. We could get more information on that in one of the future cosmic movies. But I dont think he gave it away and kept it somewhere else and not in his main Collection.
But yeah we wont know for sure until we get more information. |

I doubt he gave it away or anything, it's just that, after the explosion at his collection, I highly doubt it's still just sitting around in the wreckage, which is what makes me curious to whether he still has his hands on it.
I guess, due to it's value, he wouldn't have it sitting around or on display like his other stuff, so keeping it elsewhere does make sense. But what with him being, well, a collector, something of that rarity is also the exact kind of thing you'd want to show off. I dunno, I guess I don't want to wait for Avengers 3 just to find out whether or not he still owns it.

A thing I now have with this situation is something completely different. Why give it to the Collector in the first place?
The way he is presented in Guardians as this kinda shady person and slaver doesnt really make much sense why Asgardians would trust him with an Infinity Gem. |

I guess they gave it to him because he's simply more interested in owning, rather than conquering or destroying. He conducts shady deals, but to expand his collection, rather than to wipe out enemies or something.
That's just my speculation, though.

So last two day I gave wTched two Star Wars movie episode one and 2. I like prequal trilogy they are enjoyable. I do agree with some thing people nit pick about. I hate jar jar Hayden christen as aniken. Also I did star to notice CGI 3PO in attack of the clones. I will say this Erwen migragor is still the best chose in a young Alec geniuses

Escape from New York - Amazing movie and Shout's new BD is phenomenal. It looks absolutely fantastic and I can never watch the movie on anything lesser again. I give it a 9/10.
The Spy Who Loved Me - A little too silly at times but this is one of Moore's best movies with some truly great set pieces. I love nearly everything that is done in Cairo, especially the folklore bit. I give it a 7/10. Mad Max - I have no idea what the big deal of this movie is about. Sure, it is a harmless movie and it had some really great moments to it. It wasn't bad or anything, but I just don't see why people praise it. It didn't even feel remotely post apocalyptic. The characters seemed to mumble more than speak and it didn't really seem to go anywhere. I'm glad I finally saw it, but I just don't see how it goes from this to what has been shown in the trailers of the new one. Granted, there are two more movies, so maybe some big nuclear bomb goes off in one of those, but for what this was, it was average. I give it a 6/10. Like I said, nothing spectacular, but nothing terrible either. Mad Max 2- I still felt a little under whelmed by this one, but for different reasons. The car chase scenes were pretty awesome and made me want to play Twisted Metal, but the movie was a little too over the top in silliness. The main bad guy leader makes He-Man look straight. I also did not care for the lack of any sort of development for Max at all. He was the same in the beginning as it was in the end, so that was disappointing. The dialog was still drowned out by the music at times too, which was also annoying. Still, it was fun to see so I give it a 7/10. Mad Max 3 - Wow, this was absolute pig ****!! Why is the new one taking place after this one? The story made no sense whatsoever and it just gets worse as it goes along. Not just that, but what was the point of Auntie chasing after them when she just leaves Max? No wonder it took them 30 years to make a new one. I give this crap a 3/10. The 'Burbs
Since my APUSH class has literally nothing to study for since we did our finals a few weeks ago and we our AP test done, we are sitting back and watching some movies. It's a cute little flick about what the neighbors next door are doing, with neighbors speculating and spying and suspicious shit going on all around. Think of that one Twilight Zone episode about cultural conformity and distrust amongst the neighborhood mixed with every plto about suspicious neighbors with some interesting visuals in spots. It stars Tom Hanks but I feel his acting in this isn't as good as it will eventually be. And for a movie portraying itself as a comedy in the trailer, it wasn't making me laugh very often. |

Mad Max 4 - Or as I like to call it, Twisted Metal The Movie - Now THIS is what The Expendables should have been. This movie is a high octane explosion fest that is pretty much one long car combat sequence with only moments of room to breath, and yet, the movie finds away to keep you engaged in what is going on without ever getting bored. If you are looking for a plot or character development, go somewhere else as this feels like it is just a video game with cut scenes in between to break up the action. The acting is fine for what it wanted to be, but the highlights include the fact that nearly everything is done with practical effects over CGI and its musical score is magnificent to the ear. It is no where near as good as Ex Machina or Avengers 2, but it is still a great movie that needs to be scene in the theater. I give it a 7/10 stars.
Moonraker - Oh god my eyes, MY EYES!!! I forgot just how bad this movie was. It is terrible. The acting is bad, especially from the lady playing Goodhead, who was obviously just casted for her looks (for some reason, she isn't even pretty) rather than her acting... hahahahahahaha... I can't even finish that sentence. Drax is a horrible villain who is pretty much repeating the same plot from the last movie. I give this garbage movie a 3/10. Jurassic Park - It's been a few years since I have watched this one and it is still just a fantastic movie. The effects are phenomenal and put a lot of movies today to shame. It is colorful, has a great sound design in both music and effects, and the characters are lovable. Goldblum is miscast for Malcom, but aside from him, I have no complaints about this movie. The only thing that strikes me as odd, and always has, is the T-Rex area. When the T-Rex comes through the fence he is on land that is right behind the fence, but when he knocks the car and over and stuff, it is like a 50 foot drop. Huh? Nevertheless, I give this masterpiece a 9/10 stars. The Babadook - I finally got to see this and it was good, but I was a little disappointed with it. It was nice to see an original horror movie again though and it had a lot of great moments to it. I also liked that there was a lot of build up to the Babadook's terror. Unfortunately, I didn't feel the payoff was good enough though. I am glad to have finally gotten to see it, at the same time however, I'm happy I didn't run out and buy it as it's not a movie I'm probably going to ever rewatch. I give it a 7/10.
