You can also see that each slot determines part of the rider based on how much is displayed
So, with the Brave Dragon WonderRide Book in the rightmost slot, and nothing else, the main body of Saber and the right arm are set. With Peter Fantasista or Jack and the Beanstalk open in the leftmost slot, they show the arm, covering the middle slot. So, with the Hidden Story of Hiden on the Left, A.I.M.S. Animal File in the Middle, and Metsuboujinrai Monsters on the Right, the full set of books, when opened will display, from Left to Right, Zero One's left arm, Vulcan's Body, and Horobi's right arm. |

I'm mildly disappointed we're back to clunky belts and bulky suits with big stuff hanging off so soon. I was hoping we'd learn a few more lessons from Zero One, though saber's design isn't bad that's just more preference on my part.
What I am genuinely bored of now is half-and-half rider designs, though it's mildly more interesting than how Build or Double did it, it also feels less effective and the asymmetry is rarely effective IMO. I also feel like the fable/book gimmick is lame. Jack and the Bean Stalk? Really? The historical figures thing in Ghost was awful, so I really don't like seeing the fictional version again. |

Personally, I think it's badass looking, it's just the colors are a bit glaring.

If you put the sword in the driver and pull the trigger to "turn" the pages, it will have a really cool effect if the books open in a cascading effect.

Yeah - still not very excited for this. The suit is okay-ish, but the gimmick is really not for me. Feels like Eyecons and Gashats thrown in a blender and I'm not particularly happy about that.
Oh well, it all depends on me liking the show, ultimately suits and gimmicks can grow on me if I enjoy the story and characters. |

I'm a little relieved sometimes when I see a new suit and/or gimmick I'm not that into; I know I won't be chasing the toys.
When the progrise keys were first shown, I could feel my wallet crying in anticipation.

Kamen rider "blaze" has a water motive?wtf where they thinking? The suits look great, the belt? Not so much. Also loos like blaze will use only one wonderbook,as opposed to sabers two, somewhat similar to sento and ryuga I guess

Ok, I adore these suits! They look so damn vibrant, creative, and fun! Honestly, I think it's perfect for a successor to Zero-One. While I liked its suits, minus a few glaring exceptions, I personally think they mined that approach pretty thoroughly and it's good to see something more out there again.
And I really like the Driver as well. It's a very interesting design and I love that the sword can go in there. Let's hope the show is as fun as the designs promise. |
