So tonight's episode....
I have a massive crush on miss Coleman, just put that out there =p Pretty good return, think I'm missed something though... Couple of England specific lines where funny, the one about the London Riots was a bit brave (I still chuckled though) and the twitter comment. Also, the Return of the Fez! |

I really enjoyed 'The Bells of St. John'. I liked both both Amy and Rory as companions but I'm really looking forward to see how he acts around someone new. The plot of this episode was good and pretty creative but I wasn't paying enough attention to it and think I missed the part where they explained the villains motivation and a few other things.

I thought the episode was....adequate. It wasn't great, it wasn't awful and was pretty much what I expected from a companion introductory episode. Looking forward to seeing more.
Was really refreshing to see what looked like the filming to be in primarily London rather than Cardiff too.

Just finished the first 2 seasons of matt smith, and I feel I've missed something. Did they ever actually explain WHY the tardis blew up in his first season? I don't think they ever did.
Also, matt smith has only completed 2 seasons so far right?

Today's episode was pretty fun. It's not mindblowing, but it was very entertaining and Clara is turning out to be a fine companion. I'm surprised the Great Intelligence is behind it, I wonder if it will be the main antagonist of the story arc?
SPOILER WARNING FOR SERIES 5 & 6 Good question about the TARDIS blowing up. I'm not sure they ever explained it, but I believe the Silence are supposed to be behind it for some convoluted reason. Perhaps someone can enlighten us.

So tired of feeling stupid watching Doctor Who. Should've seen the villian coming, it was the same damn thing he did in victorian England. The repeating, robots instead of snowmen. Still, loved it

The new episode was OK. It was setting up a lot of threads for later, and didn't explain a lot. As for the TARDIS exploding, I assumed it was to get rid of the Doctor. The Universe ending just happened to be an unexpected side effect.
Meanwhile, on the review side, I failed my goal of uploading all S1 revies before Saturday, on account of me being busy. S1 E7: The Long Game- 07/05/05 In the far future, the Doctor encounters a future different to that which he knows... Plot The Doctor takes Rose and Adam to the year 200,000. They land on a space station broadcasting news via brain implants. The news turns out to have been manipulated by a blob (the Jagrafess) and the mysterious editor. They and some person they meet blow up the blob and go go find Adam. Who downloaded all of 200,000's data into his 2012 answerphone. The Doctor dumps him at hope, destroys his answer phone and leaves him with a brain implant. The Doctor and Rose then leave for their next adventure. Overall the plot isn't bad, but it lacks, especially compared to last weeks episode. It feels more like an episode of the old series, but without a second parter to finish up. 5/10 Character This episode feature development for no regular characters. The Doctor learns about choosing his companions carefully, but that's about it. 3/10 Scare Factor There's a freaky bit when the brain opens up, but not much else. 5/10 Bad Wolf Watch-Bad Wolf TV (The Face of Boe is pregnant???) Overall The last epsiode of the new series I ever had to watch, I hadn't been missing much. This episode could easily be skipped, if not for it tying in to something else...
