Eh, maybe they'll do that too. If they're really continuing it but it's under a new name and of course company, makes sense to open with a brand new thing first instead of just clearing up the rest of the last one.

Well I already have the original. It's Korean, but still the same thing basically. So I don't see the need to get this. Also with my TRU experience, if an item says "12 inch figure" or whatever size figure, that's exactly what it is, a figure. It's likely not transformable. I am sure there are exceptions, but given the limited information one can assume that it's just a 12" figure likely highly detailed with decent articulation and probably die cast metal pieces to justify the price tag. Possibly has lights and/or sounds too. Honestly I am not too excited for this release. Maybe once I see it it'll change my mind, but I rather have a Shogun Megazord that combines with BoA's Legacy Ninja Falconzord, so that didn't feel like a wasted purchase, as well as a release of the Ninja Bearzord to fix the issues the legacy one has. I'm sure when Hasbro bought the rights to Power Rangers toys they inherited the molds of those items, and items that were never completed.

I'd love a new and improved Zeo Megazord aimed at collectors. That was my first Megazord as a kid - can't even recall getting it, just always had it heh.
But something has me thinking this isn't it. Mostly price.. seems too low? Could be like that Playskool Wild Force Megazord that came out last year and just another playset or big non-transforming figure meant for kids. I feel if it if were an actual collector-oriented item, we kind of literally just passed the time for Hasbro to make a big show of it and let everyone know it's coming.

Also, it's 90 CAD, which is roughly 70 USD. So it's not too much more than the combined price of the MM Megazord just revealed (altogether) for example.

I do think you're right though when you say that due to being a much lower price than Legacy and other comparable things it's probably not something like that. I think we'll just have to wait and see

I mean to be the devil's advocate for this being part of Hasbro's line alternative of Legacy Megazords for a minute, I doubt that Hasbro is going to be haphazardly adding Diecast metal to them or using Diecast at all considering how much people hate the Transformers Titanium line. So that's going to off the bat make the Zeo Megazord cheaper to produce than the Ninja Megazord (using as the base for the Legacy line price wise)
Granted I honestly doubt that this is part of the Lightning collection series and will just be it's own thing. Last edited by Zatyme; 02-24-2020 at 10:14 PM.. |

I would love to see a new Zeo Megazord. I already loved the original to snag that one for $70. I'd be more than happy to get an updated one for $80. Especially if they manage to give it articulated legs.
