wont spoil anything about In Space, but it is truly a great Power Rangers series and its reasonably praised. For me, it's second best only behind Time Force (in which it may has a lot of small plot holes, but that doesnt take away from the excitement I had with it).

Timeranger isnt completely subbed yet i suppose. And its a shame about Time Force. I wish I could see the entire thing without the 9/11 edits, because I watched Time Force when it was first airing, then watching the show years later and not noticing the edits to it til much later. Its a shame, because I loved the Time Shadow fights.

I've always felt that Megaranger's flaw was that it was so overwhelmingly average. It never did anything wrong, and while it had it's highlights (Nejirangers are unforgettable, Kubota is one of my favorite mentors, and the mech design is on point), it never really breaks atmosphere (Space pun) as just kind of sits. It never stagnates, but it never pushes limits, either.

I will admit that it does play it safe. I do like how the plot keeps moving which makes the pacing great. It does better with the pacing than the 3 recent sentai we had. Kyoryuger's pacing came off as way too slow then just going at lightspeed to catch up with itself, ToQger being better, but having a crawling middle, and Ninninger just going outright fast, resulting in plot points being resolved so fast that it leaves no overall impact on anything.

There's nothing wrong with keeping things safe, but there just wasn't enough urgency in the plot. Like, it moved at a steady rate, but not enough was actually happening to really keep the viewer completely invested.

I only like some of the episodes because of the characters and their interactions. Like i said in my earlier posts, Miku is my favorite character, and that's because of how she interacts with the other characters. She has this whole happy-go-lucky style and it someone who really cares deeply about her friends, especially shun, who seems to outright disrepect her feelings towards him, but thats probably because he's "edgy"

Yeah, Mega definitely played it safe. I mean, one of my favorite episodes is the one where they get poisoned by the moth monster and are told they have 24 hours to live. Clearly they aren't going to die, so there is no suspense, but it was interesting to see how the rangers themselves dealt with the issue.
