The turnaround time on W's reveal and preorders opening was pretty short wasn't it? Maybe that'll repeat and an SS release will still come in the first half of the year.

...oy. I adjusted my Rider display this weekend (giving all the Rider swords/bladed weapons if they had them) and it was a slaughter. Three of my Figuarts broke:
- The handle on Ryuki's DragVisor snapped and part of it disintegrated. I'd removed it from the hand molded to hold it so I could use one of his optional hands on that side, and I'd wondered at the time if doing so had been a mistake. The plastic on the hands was incredibly stiff and substantially harder than the plastic for the handle. SNAP. $80 Figuart damaged beyond the ability of glue to fix. - The sword mode of Shinkocchou Seihou Decade's Ride Booker met a terrible end. As I worked on getting it into his hands for a proper holding-sword-with-both-hands pose, the handle snapped off. Prognosis: maybe fixable with superglue, but I'd need to be ginger with it. - The saddest of these was Shinkocchou Seihou W's normal-sized scarf. Whereas I'd been fiddling with having hands interact with an accessory on other figures, with the scarf, I was just rotating it. SNAP. The scarf came off the ball joint. I may be able to superglue it back, but given the size of the snapped connection point and the weight of the scarf, it seems likely to break again. Sad trombone! |

Does anyone hear think we get Sentai Figuarts in 2017? I feel we could get Akibaranger Season 3 and with the new mmpr movie tamashii could have something plan. And I wouldn't hold out hope Tamashii does something Sentai-related because of the MMPR movie. They may do something related to the movie, but Sentai is a stretch.

I don't know where your "feeling" is coming from. We've had absolutely no indication of any form of continuation of Akibaranger, especially after what will be four years (since season 2).

Then again I didn't see Gokaiger until 2014, but that's besides the point.

So my figures had been gathering dust for a while, and I finally got tired of that and decided to go cleaning. Now, I've had Genocider for...years? Has it been years now? At least one. It's been a while. But, I've never actually combined the three into Genocider. So while I was wiping the dust off the monsters I thought hey, why not do that.
It's definitely a satisfactorily huge old thing. But yeah, I think I prefer displaying them individually. Metalgelas' body has just a bit of trouble supporting all the extra junk, too. It's cool though. Really makes me regret that I couldn't get Dragranzer. Giant Figuarts monsters are the best. That being said...to say my figures were covered with dust is something of an understatement. It's more like the dust in my room just happened to have some figures underneath. Increasingly I find it more difficult to find the time to mess around with and take care of my Figuarts, and that's pretty lame. It's also probably why I haven't really been getting any. The last one I got was Specter, and before that, Agito...and that one just because HLJ had it on sale for 1500. There's been so many figures I've wanted, preordered, and then just had to cancel because of one reason or another. The fact that I'm aware that I don't pay enough attention to the ones I already have makes doing that a lot easier in the end, and the fact that they are only getting more expensive doesn't help. Like I really want to go back and get all those figures I want, especially to finish my Ryuki collection...but I end up wondering if there's even any point. And it sucks, cause I love Figuarts. Le sigh. Not sure what the point of this post. Just...thinking I guess. Definitely going to make an effort to actually go through with getting the Ex-Aid guys, if only because I really am enjoying the show a lot, but...would make it easier if Bandai could announce Lazer, at least. Should probably also get some detolfs or something so dust becomes less of an issue... |

What's the probability of us getting Amazon Sigma next year? I just finished Amazons, loved it so much that I instantly bought Amazon Omega and "Alfa" and now I patiently wait Sigma lol. Probably my most wanted Rider figuart outside of SS TheBee, Zombie Genm and, of course, KIVA! Lol
