I am after February once I get Jet Man from Shout. I would love to add the Rider line. Thanks for the heads up on this. I want to get the Pre Zyu sets first.
How many Rider shows are there that they have?

Just V3. The company did some other popular Ishinomori shows from the time V3 was airing, though -- Kikaider, Kikaider 01 and Inazuman

Oh thanks for the link to the company’s website. I’m kind of tempted by the Kikaider set. For some reason I watched the Hakaider movie from the 90s a couple weeks ago. Never did see the tokusatsu. I watched the anime revival, but all I remember is the ending song.
It looks if you buy from their site, you won’t have to pay amazon’s shipping cost. Depending on where you ship it to, of course. |

As someone who likes a lot of it, Kikaider is probably my favourite 70s Tokusatsu! I'd have an easy time recommending it to anyone who has trouble getting into Showa Toku for the same kind of reasons as KR Amazon; it's very consistent thematically and has interesting ongoing characterisation. It's not quite as short as Amazon mind, but hey, 43 episodes... s'alright!

Possibly the last haul of the year, I got in a huge box via the proxy site "From Japan". First time using them and I really enjoyed the ease and the layout of their site. The shipping was pretty hefty, but that was from me being overzealous with the size and weight of some of these items:
50th Anniversary Memorial Board - Part 1 of 2. I already have the second half so I'll show that off later Shikishi Artboards - Finishing up the last couple I was missing Gaia Memory Keychains & Gaim Rubber Coaster - The search is finally over for these two Kamen Rider Gaim Ceramic Plate - This has to be the most obscure piece of Rider merch I've ever gotten. Not gonna lie, I thought this was going to be the size of a saucer. DX Lockseed for scale

With the announcement of the prop accurate Ultra Dimension Card set, I’ve decided to get that eventually and cherry pick any cards I’ll need for Ultra Combos with the Dual Sword from the DX sets. So I’m starting with Sevenger from set 01.

I was a little worried, after a recent video showed they only have 4 slots on each page (giving me space for 8 cards per page), but I’ve discovered it has 10 pages, allowing for 80 cards. Which is one less than my collection will have if I get the items I intend to get (the screen accurate card set, plus Sets 6 through 8)

Last haul of the year! Half of these are stuff I'd had pre-ordered, the other half is presents from friends.
So first up, stuff I got myself. Marvel Legends 90s Animated Spider-Man: We finally get a figure of my favorite Spider-Man, and while it's not a terrible figure, it does leave me wanting. It's a straight repaint of the Amazing Fantasy body, which, while it is the best Spidey body the line has had to date, it's also not accurate to his Animated Series design. He should be alot more muscular if nothing else. Also, I do not care at all for the web effects, and would much rather have gripping hands. The "cel-shading" also doesn't quite match up with the sculpt. But, it's overall okay for what it is, and I'll be keeping it. Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends 3-Pack: The Spider-Man is another repaint, but outside of the inaccurate Spider Logo, I think it actually overall works pretty well for this iteration of Spider-Man. The updated on Firestar is a great plus, and despite the bad shading on Iceman, I think this is the best Iceman that the line has done to date. Wish they'd used the new Vulcan body for him though. Custom Venom Feet by Anthony's Customs: One of my first ever figure mods, done for the ML King in Black Venom. The feet were a bit tough to get on due to the plastic being a bit hard, but once on they blend in with the sculpt of the rest of the figure almost perfectly. I also modified the neck so that Venom would look all the way up for some of his more signature poses, and I think I did pretty alright for a first time. Wave and Lightning effects by Can of Beams BOOM! Studios Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers Kickstarter Collection: Definitely the holy grail of these items. I was a backer for the project and it did not disappoint. The presentation is awesome, and I'll be happy to revisit what I consider the best run of the comics so far. Here's to hoping they do a Complete Collection for Go Go in the near future. And now for presents from friends of mine. Masters of the Universe 40th Anniversary He-Man: I have no real attachment to the original He-Man toys, but this figure isn't bad! He's outside of my usual scale, but given that this is He-Man, I don't mind him being taller than alot of my other figures, inaccurate or not. Might have to pick up a Skeletor in the future now. Mightnight Blue PS4 Controller: One of my PS4 controllers broke, so a friend was nice enough to order me a replacement. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Pro Controller: A friend of mine somehow ended up with a spare copy of the game, so he just let me have it. Even threw in a controller too. Very nice of him. Radiant Black Volumes 1-3: I got a threatening package in the mail from some guy named "Challenger's Comics" with these in it, so I guess I have no choice but to read them in a timely manner, or else who knows what could happen! This'll be my second foray into the Massive-Verse. Zord Ascension Project Dino Megazord: I dunno what possessed a friend of mine to order this for me, but I guess I have my first Collector's Combiner Toy now. And yeah, despite some negative reviews you might find online this overall isn't bad. Like, yeah, it could certainly be better in a few areas, but for what it is, I do like it overall. Still, now the poison has set in, and I might need to get myself a Combiner Voltron or the ZAP Dragonzord in the future...
