I've seen To Quger up to #06 so far and I like it. Saban are beyond shortsighted and dumb.
I think they could have made a darker more US friendly adaption. Honestly not too wild about ToQger's helmets. Blank black would have been fine. I like the outfits however. The visors were a bit over done. The imagination thing could have been changed out possibly.

Well I'm a little bummed today.
I was re-organizing my collection and randomly testing things out. My Showa Lockseed wasn't making any lights or sounds. No big deal, probably just a dead battery right? I put a fresh set in and still nothing. Okay maybe look cable? I took it apart full ready to re-solder any disconnected wires, but I found none. I just can't figure out why its not working. If anyone has any advice, I would greatly appreciate it. I've fixed toys in the past so this one is really bugging me!

I spent the day hanging out with a really close friend of mine. His father recently passed due to old age so he's moving to the other side of the state to try and get a fresh start in his life. Sad to see him go, but I know it's for the best. And it's not like I'll never see him again, so I wish him luck.

People are saying they're tired of superhero movies, but I feel like we need them more than ever now, especially the one that would help inspire audiences to believe in humanity again.

Deadpool 2 can be a bit too cynical.
I don't know, it's just, the world sucks right now or rather people sucks. I just want to believe in people again. Or the good ones. It's too bad John Krasinski's Some Good News is over.

"If it bleeds, it leads". It's a common saying in the newspaper industry that basically states that anything that bleeds, is dying or is horrendous is immediately front page worthy material. If you want good news, go to this website: https://www.goodnewsnetwork.org Amazing how much good news there actually are in the world. Like I always say, life is a thornbush full of roses. |

You know, earlier this year I took up a news writing course in university. I wasn't really too enthusiasitic so I dropped it, but I'll never forgot something they told me:

Yeah super hero movies are becoming a little too meta and deconstructionist to provide the sense of wonder and optimism super heroes were originally created for.
I don't know that Marvel or DC are in the right space for it either. All their characters are old enough to have seen 1 or 2 too many gritty takes. What we actually need now is Janperson.

It's why I'm kinda tired of superhero movies and why I imagine a lot of people are -- precisely because I agree with "but I feel like we need them more than ever now, especially the one that would help inspire audiences to believe in humanity again" quite a bit.
