So as VS movie, it succeeds at its main job. I wish it came together to be something more special like some of them are, but I think the optimal mindset for these movies is always just to treat it like a fun walk down memory lane for an hour with some neat moments sprinkled in. Standouts here for me include Lucky getting to show his more mature side talking to Keiichirou when he gets let out of his cell, because Lucky is always at his best when he isn't just yelling, and Micchan's completely inexplicable cameo, which might actually prove that he's at his best when is yelling.
