I got into an interesting discussion with a friend who watched some Sentai with me. She asked why is it almost all the female rangers are so demure and overly girl with their poses. She also asked were there any female sentai who didn't move like a typical "giggly female stereotype"
What do you guys think?

Pose wise, it's not a big deal. They show it for like 2 seconds each episode then jump cut. It's just to look good.
Personality wise, lots of female characters are handled like that, beyond just sentai. However, there are also lots of female characters who are serious, strong (And not strong in the sense that they're a bitch), and overall great characters. For example, neither Ahim nor Luka from Gokaiger were the "Bubbly, giggling girl", and were both fine characters. Ran and Kaoru are also similar examples. That's not to say that Sentai isn't chock full of those types of characters though... |

A lot of it is a culture thing. Japan is pretty heavily youth-obsessed and a lot of women try to act young, cute, and girly. It's also very deeply patriarchal and men still tend to be in charge of most aspects of toku production. So yeah, Sentai is not what I would call progressive in terms of depicting women. That's not to say that every female character is like MagiPink, though (who've I've heard is probably the most over-the-top girly Sentai girl ever), but yeah, there are a lot of them.

From what I understand, Time Force is kinda copy-pasted from Timeranger, one of the many carried traits being the female-sorta-leaders.

I wouldn't say sexist. It just follows the culture in Japan. But like Matrix said: Time Pink was a very strong woman in her role. So was SPD Yellow, Magi White, Magi Pink for that matter. Vida was anything but girlie.
