Just finished reading Star Wars: Darth Bane: Rule of Two. It's a pretty solid followup of Darth Bane: Path of Destruction and I am looking forward to reading the third and final book of that particular trilogy, Dynasty of Evil, somewhere down the line since I bought it just last week. But for now, it's onward to the next SW novel, Tales of the Bounty Hunters.
I'm reading Maul: Lockdown right now. And it already put me off a little with the first chapter. Kind of hard for me to keep insisting that even in old canon they did their best to make things work together (even though where were always going to be inconsistencies when you have such a large franchise with so many types of media) when the very first thing the next-to-last Legends novel published does is slap in the face of another novel-only storyline that should be easiest to consider... By having Maul fighting a Yuuzhan Vong before Episode I even happens. >_< But after we got past that, yay, more Maul!

I'm so close to being caught up with Berserk, and I'm dreading it, because once I do I'm at the mercy of it's infamously slow release schedule.

Bought the newest volume of My Hero Academia and read it in one sitting. I absolutely love this series. It's also nice to have a series that I can follow, but I hate waiting for the volumes to release. I guess I could read it online, but I want to support the release and collect the series. Ugh.
I guess I have like 12 volumes of Dragon Ball and like 25 volumes of Rurouni Kenshin (collected most of it in my early teens and haven't read it since...forgot almost everything that happens) to keep me entertained until then... Also, read Gwenpool #3 last night. One of the few comic series I actually have been really enjoying and find it worth following. I have issue #4 as well, will probably read that soon.

I give up on reading Twin Star Exorcist. The first volume was boring to read and the second volume was just as boring. Maybe the anime TV series is better, but I find Twin Star Exorcist to be another cliche Shonen manga (in a bad way). The characters are boring and the story is not that interesting. The art work is good, I give you that. It reminds me when I try to get into D. Gray Man in 2008 (I didn't like D. Gray Man at all).
People told me to check out Blue Exorcist instead because it's much better. I never seen Blue Exorcist expect for bits of it on Toonami and I never read the manga.

Bunch of DC stuff mainly Titans and Superman being my focus. Superman really is the Goku of DC only difference being Lois does not pester her son to study like crazy and be a scholar.

I am currently reading Star Wars: Splinter of the Mind's Eye which is the very, very first foray into the franchise's old Expanded Universe in novel format. It is written by the same author who has ghostwritten for George Lucas in the film novelization version of A New Hope and even went on to write the film novelization version of The Force Awakens. Seems pretty interesting so far.

I'm trying to find decently priced copies of the Resident Evil: Marhawa Desire manga. Read volumes 1&2.

Also reading Monster Musume vol 9, things have gotten to an interesting point with Mero's mom trying to drive a wedge between humans and mermaids for the sake of tragic romance and Lala turning someone into a zombie to save their life. Is it just me reading this; it's a ecchi series but damn the writing's really good in this! |
