Read the solicits for february aaaand....Daredevil is ending that month. Another great series getting cancelled and that makes me a sad sad pandabear.
Atleast we will be getting a new New Warriors ongoing by Christopher Yost the genius behind Scarlet Spider. Also I gotta say the new Fantastic Four uniforms look horrible. I have to say, all of the Inhumanity stuff has my interest piqued. I have dug the Inhumans since I was introduced to them on the Marvel Action Hour FF cartoon, and I am curious to see how this all plays out.

Yeah they said something about that but that wont happen anytime soon I´m afraid.
I cant wait for the Inhuman stuff. I hope Fractions promise of a sci-fi take on Game of Thrones is true with that one |

Read Superior Spider-Man 17 & 18 and oh boy its really not that good. The first Issue of the crossover was pretty darn okay it set up the Spidey 2099 Universe pretty well (something I know nothing about) the first thing though that bothered me about it was the slang thy used. It is a neat idea but man they overuse it like hell. The rest of the Issue was standard crossover fodder and thats always cool.
The next issue is were it went downhill for me...so you are telling me that he is from the future and doesnt know anything about the period in time were Spidey went completely bonkers and build his own private army? Seriously? Also the dialogue was so damn corny and felt mostly like an 80s cartoon crossover ala The Flintstones meet the Jacksons. Also Slott must really think peoples attention spans are minimal cause they remind us far too often that Spidey 2099 has to save his own great grandfather. The good thing I can say about this crossover so far is....the art is pretty. |

To be fair, the 2099 books used a lot of slang in them back in the day. Superior Spider-Man doesn't really interest me; he is the weak link in Mighty Avengers as far as I am concerned from a character standpoint.
Picked up Daredevil #33 today, to complete the Legion of Monsters story. Also, on a whim, grabbed Infinity #1. Thought I'd give it a try.

I miss the 2099 books. Spider-Man though was my favorite 2099 design.. Always sad that none of that era got their own animated series.

You guys were right. Daredevil is awesome!
If it's any consolation, Spider-Man 2099 has appeared in two Spider-Man video games as an actual character. |
