Here are some more details of the Morpher from the Tsuyoshi Nonaka Design and Development panel from Morphicon 2012
The 5 Power Coins will be made of diecast metal, and the Morpher will be able to recognize each coin for a different sound. Nonaka also said that the Morpher will have the Wrist Communicator SFX. https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/phot...eat=directlink https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/phot...eat=directlink

I never had a functioning morpher as a little kid (only had a chunk of plastic that could be put on a belt, with like 1 Power Coin) I know what to save up for now ^_^

I want it for sure! Hope it gets mass market availability, especially here in Australia.

Yeah, this feels like it could end up being the Masterpiece Prime of the PR line...

If they make this an exclusive, I just hope they don't make it a Toys R Us exclusive.

It's definitely a nice piece. Though I can't honestly say that I'll actually buy it. I'm more interested in the "diecast" Megazord they've got coming out. I wonder if this will be available at mass retail, or if it'll be a TRU/online only sort of thing. If it's available at mass retail, I imagine it could eventually go on clearance, depending on availability, and the amount of nostalgic PR fans in my area, so I might wait for that possibility to get it...
