I'm looking forward to seeing what he'll do with the key though - if he ends up unwillingly cultivating it for Metsubojinrai.net’s further use that could be a huge impact for him. Quote:

1) The not-a-spy guy is indeed the spy without him knowing, he was coded with some kind of leaking information orders (and later with "lead protags to daybreak please" because that needs to be explained if he wasn't aware) but after he transforms into his rider form his personality is like he was always a MJ.net general. It doesn't make sense
Yes, it is very convenient that they're looking for a spy and the spy decides to chew out Aruto for his bike-usage at the same time, but it's still not that terrible IMO. Quote:
2) Hate when an upgrade of a base form is a complete coincidence. If Yua had been working on an upgrade for Fuwa or what, it would tell you something about the character and all. But no. The antagonists satellite decides by itself to be a wolf key, and conveniently the key is dropped by Jin near the wolf based rider so he can use it. URGH it makes me angry...
However: By having Fuwa use a key made by Metsubojinra.net he will unwillingly aid them and I'm very much looking forward to how that's all going down. Quote:
3) And of course the progrize keys thing. "oh no I dropped my progrize keys and the antagonists got them all to do a plot thing, but don't worry antagonists will drop them again right away when they're done and you can get them back except the ones from MJ.net generals of course haha".
Like: Dodo picks up mammoth after beating Shining Hopper. Horobi picks up shark after defeating Zero-One, slowly but surely he's losing a few keys until Ikazuchi takes like two this week and they have enough. That would've been a cleaner way to handle things. |

Horobi has to be orchestrating all of this. I don't want to believe that Jin and Horobi did nothing but stood by while Ikazuchi was getting outclassed. Maybe they need more data on the Assault Grip or something. I don't want a repeat of Phoenix and Medusa in Wizard where they did absolutely nothing for the first quarter of the show aside from looking threatening.

Great episode as usual. Thinking to show us the guys who have to put Zero-One's bike back into space is a typical genius-level Takahashi idea, although it makes me further question why Aruto's phone doesn't directly turn into the bike when it was clearly designed to. I actually heard there's this genius physicist guy who totally figured this out like two years ago already, Hiden should really get in touch with him.
Anyways, the way it leads into a larger plot is quite fun, and Ikazuchi was a fun surprise. I presume he's going to be around for at least a bit, which is cool, but I'm confused as to why nobody thinks to grab the dang Dodo Key at the end. I get that Aruto is naturally going to be focused on helping Fuwa out, but Izu just takes her sweet time picking the Authorize Buster off the ground before leaving with everyone else. Are you guys trying to clear the company's name or not?! What's also a mystery is why the Ark can pump out a new Progrise Key in like five seconds after just waking up from a coma when it takes Zea's sluggish systems like a whole day bare minimum. I guess Hiden pumped all their money into that first satellite and Zea is just the cheap replacement. Oh, and more importantly, it's a mystery why it makes a Wolf Key, but, come on, this is Yuuya Takahashi we're talking about. Whereas in most shows, the throwaway dialogue we get here would be the explanation, with him it usually means there's a proper one coming later. I'm gonna wait until we know what the Ark's deal is before I get too upset about that. I hate to even suggest this, because on the face of it, I hate this theory, but uh, all you "Fuwa is totally a robot" peeps? We've never seen how he survived Daybreak, and we happen to be missing one member of MetsubouJinrai, which is something [I]Fuwa[I] points out? In this episode where it's shown that someone who survived Daybreak was basically allowed to do so to serve the bad guy's purposes? I'm not saying it's going to happen, or that all of that will play into it, if it did. I'm just saying the will of the Ark might be a little more layered than we think. For my regularly scheduled disagreement with Kiwami, I also liked Assault Wolf's debut quite a bit. It's not as flashy as Shining Hopper's, but the fact that it went in basically the polar opposite direction, showing Vulcan as this sturdy tank, shrugging off all attacks as he inevitably closes in on his foe, made for a nice contrast, and befitted a character motivated by pure, single-minded rage. It's a short but sweet scene. Granted, it doesn't hurt that I still think Vulcan's BGM is the absolute bomb. Fuwa could be making a pie to that music and I'd say it's intense. Quote:

While this one is more of an assumption on my part, I also got the impression the "some kind of leaking information orders" was simply MetsubouJinrai hacking him so that whatever data Raiden gets is also fed directly to them. Like spyware, you know?

Well, next week we'll know if 01 shining <assault hopper = assault wolf. The way the keys work make it seems like it not a fusion of wolf, bur controlling or communicating with the first arc. Again, Xmas arc close with new rider villains like grease and last year woz. N
Maybe there will be the 4the member Metsubojinrai. The true hidden leader. I prefer if the sleeper spy actually regain his memory as jin's bro or something instead of the typical brainwashing. Dodo #5 is still lurking around possible following his dancing dream or he'll become even powerful dodo like graphite. |

With the Assault Grip tapping into the Ark, I wonder if it records the fight data from Fuwa and eventually, Aruto when using it.

it was a decent enough episode. Arutos 'comedy' and silly faces and noises I admit are starting to get a little irritating.
When Wolf caught the new gun, then fell into a roll and ended it with pressing the gun barrel against Dodos chest in one smooth move,.....well..... that was a pretty damn smooth move. *cheers* |

At the start it felt like he was making one of those jokes once an episode or more. It's already declining, I expect they'll get even rarer as the series goes on. But as annoying as the jokes were, I did like the dynamic of Fuwa, of all people, being the only one who found them funny.

Now it makes sense why Raiden survived the Daybreak, while other Humagears (barring Horobi and other mastermind(s)) were destroyed. He was intentionally left there by MJnet so that he could infiltrate Hiden later. I don't know why Hiden chose to continue employing him after the Daybreak. If I were the CEO of Hiden, I'd have destroyed all the remaining Humagears. All of them were compromised, except Aruto's dad and Wazu. It was a bad decision. |
