Alright so this is the second time this has happened but I had my newly arrived SIC KT Ultimate Rising Kuuga break on me while I was trying to unstick his arm swivels. Any tips to prevent future incidents like this? Should I be more patient? Am I just unlucky?

I've had a little trouble with some SIC KTs, but not that one (although his leg does fall off sometimes). The only serious breaks I've had were Garo's fist (ball joint stuck in the wrist - common problem) and Blade's shoulder pad (terrible design but easily patched with glue).

I hadn't had any issues with my KTs, though I only have six. I do have Kuuga Rising Ultimate and haven't experienced any problems though.

So I wanted to get the new versions of Ichigo and Nigo but only saw that Nigo was released in his original colors. I saw a pic of the new Version in his Shin form (Silver Helmet,Red Boots etc.) so was this release scraped or is that version still coming out?

Wizard!
QC-wise, there are some paint issues. Though not as easily noticeable here as in-hand, there are two silver splotches on the clear red pieces on the right side of the trenchcoat. The silver on the right marking on the back of his collar is off, compared to the one on the left. Additionally, the dragon on his right shoulder pad is also off, whereas the one on the left pad is largely fine. Right: Left: Not a huge thing, but some people may take issue with it if theirs has similar issues. On the rest of him, the "skirt" pieces of his trenchcoat are actually two separate sections on hinge joints. Each section has two parts to it, also on hinge joints. The posability is grants Wizard is nice; it also doesn't screw with his balance much as he can still stand easily with the skirt pieces parallel to the ground (I suppose the die cast pieces on his legs may help a bit here). He has two separate WizarSwordGuns like the Figuart. Unlike the Figuart, the hand pieces are not articulated. Instead, there are two separate open-hand pieces that can be swapped out for the closed-hand pieces each weapon comes with. (That kind of surprised me, considering the smaller Figuart weapons are articulated, and some previous SIC weapons are articulated in ways I could understand that the Figuarts line wouldn't attempt.) Red Garuda is a softer clear plastic compared to its Figuarts version. The legs are articulated (swivel back & forth) but nothing more. To my surprise, Wizard comes with one of the Tamashii stages they've packed in with a few previous SICs. It works about as well as these stages do with SICs...meaning not great. If you want any kind of airborne pose, you really have to work with it to find the right balance so it doesn't tip over. The stage connects to Wizard via a peg in his back which is exposed by removing a piece from the back of his belt. I don't know if the clawed pieces would've worked better, but I do wish they'd been included as an option. As for Fire Chicken mode, it looks better in-hand to me than it has in pics I've seen, as the feet look a bit less like chicken feet slippers. The head piece replaces the middle antenna on his head; it's not the greatest connection and unpegs a bit easily. A longer peg or multiple connection points would've been preferred. Remove some pieces from his back to peg in the wings. Those pieces were in there pretty tight on mine so be careful as you remove them that they don't shoot off like one did to me (thankfully I found it after). The feet literally just slide onto the normal feet. It's actually a tight connection, so no worry of them falling off as you move Wizard around. There are small "L" and "R" designations, so they're not interchangeable. Finished product isn't bad. It's not as impressive as the bulked-up OOO figures, but a lot better in-hand as the feet don't look as silly as I feared. Nice release; not the OOO figures but still eye-catching for me. I hope they get a bit more ambitious with future Wizard releases though. |

I'm pretty sure there is no next KT release. It's been almost a year since the last release and over 18 months since the last non-exclusive.
