I was hoping the Tree Lined Slope would be one of the included backgrounds.
Cloudy Sky Rock was my favorite though.

Selection for Shodo-X 12 is up, it has two RabbitTanks, Two Hazards, and two accessory sets. I was expecting two Cross-Zs, but I suppose this allows to display more of the head options. Anyone want a Build and accessory set when I get around to buying it (UK only)?

Huh. Was expecting Cross-Z as well but... like you said, it does make sense for displaying more Hazard forms. You technically get 5 unique figures in a full wave instead of 4 this way.

Ah jeez. I'm watching a review right now, and... maybe I should have expected this in retrospect, but. Right out the box the elongated parts of the eyes did Not Go Well!
It seems to be case by case (their Hazard seems fine?), but obviously this is a bit of a design flaw and it's very sad to see. I really wish there was a way they could have rectified this somehow.

Ah yes this is definitely a common issue with Shodo-X. The spikier the design, the higher the chance. Heck, my Shodo-X Cyclone (yes the bike) has bent handle bars that I just cannot correct.
This also happens with Converge figures but I've been able to fix those with hot water.

Is it easy to fix, then?

Probably. Heat them up with a hair dryer or hot water and then hold onto the correct shape for a wee bit. That should do it in most cases.
Also am I the only one who would pay extra to have the backs of So-do and Shodo have paint and stickers? |

I dip the part in somewhat hot water (not boiling) then form it and then plunge the part in ice cold water.
A heat gun also works for some plastics. But I haven't had much success using either tactic for Shodo figures. I think sometimes the part is just too thin and you definitely don't want to keep trying it else it will just weaken the part. Quote:
But hey I actually think it might happen. The Minipla line started out very barebones and now they are some of the best representations of their figures available anywhere --- but this definitely comes at a cost; the rebranded Shokugan Modeling Project "candy toys" are nearly $100 for each kit. SO-DO figures have been improving a lot every year in paint apps and articulation and I could see the SO-DO Chronicle line doing more to cover the backs. In fact, SO-DO Gaim was surprisingly covered. My dream upgrade would actually be compound eyes, but that would definitely never happen.

Stickered up So-Do Saikou’s two forms last night. Saikou Shadow was nearly fully painted already, but X-Swordsman took a lot of work. I also kind of put his sword sticker on backwards and ripped it getting it off, but that’s on the side I’ve posed away from the camera, so it might as well not exist. And that's it for Saber content in this wave of the Kamen Rider Saber toyline! Because what everyone really wants instead of Primative/Elemental Dragon or Sabela and Durandal is a kitbash movie Rider from Zero-One and whatever the hell was going on in Zi-O vs Decade! The two accessory packs look pretty cool though, can't wait to sticker those. (I cannot believe that the Shinkenger logo is on a Kamen Rider toy in 2021) EDIT: There were always pictures here, I never accidentally hit post before I'm finished. Trust me
