The art is so pretty. I've never watched Sailor Moon but I just love the style used here.

You NEED to watch it as it was the FIRST magical girls anime in the USA, I think in Japan aswell, I can't remember I only watched the weird ass US version .

No, there were dozens of magical girls animes broadcast in Japan and a few in America before Sailor Moon and Sailor V were created.

Sailor Moon was nowhere near the first magical girl series. It did however introduce the whole henshin hero/sentai team aspect to it and revitalized the genre.

I can't wait. its been so long since watching it. I remember watching it as a little kid in the 90's than later on toonami. also who can forget these gems.
