Exactly why I'm angry at Neo Saban. They had the chance to make the show good, they didn't. Beast Morpher has efforts, but I worry if they're still gonna retain the sense of cheapness of Neo Saban era.

The MMPR era looks like it was made on a budget of £20 and a few snacks for the production team. Power Rangers being 'cheap' isn't just a Neo-Saban thing, it' a Power Rangers thing.

Problem is, the whole Neo Saban era is basically Saban being greedy and trying to recreate the MMPR success using the same ingredient, which is the definition of insane. Then again Disney was pretty stingy with their budgets as well. Which is why I hope after Beast Morphers, Hasbro would take the franchise in a better direction.

And this 20 episodes per season format just got worse.

While Disney was tight fisted with their budgets, they still allowed for some autonomy, and actually selected writers who would try and make a coherent story, rather than what Neo-Saban did, and hire people who admitted they were just trying to come up with excuses to get to the fight scenes.

Neo Saban did help us get Super Sentai on DVD and help import the SH figuarts line for Bluefin. At least, they market their shows and let people know that Power Rangers is still a thing. I remember during the Disney era, the shows had little to no marketing and would air on awful time slots.
I was unaware that shows after Dino Thunder was still being made because I remember there was no marketing for them. Pretty much this. MMPR was always a bad kids show and the show did so well because it was a live action show was different at the time. It had people in spandex fighting monsters and giant robots. MMPR was aim towards kids from Pre School-3rd grade. Most of them didn't have critical thinking skills yet and watch it because it was fun seeing people in spandex fighting monsters. I think most of us as kids never cared about the plot in MMPR. Even as a kid, I would be like "Go back to the fighting please" during the awful school scenes.
