Finished reading Star Wars: Shatterpoint and it's pretty good for the most part though out of the all of the Matthew Stover-penned SW novels I read so far, I personally find the film novelization of Revenge of the Sith and Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor to be better and after a couple of years ago since I read the first two Thrawn Trilogy novels, which are among the first old EU Star Wars books I've read along with the Clone Wars Gambit duology, I've finally started reading the third and final book of said trilogy, The Last Command, on which I'm already up to its fourth chapter.

Recently finished Star Wars: The Last Command. It's been couple of years since I have the first two books of it but I've finally completed The Thrawn Trilogy and it's easily some of the best SW novels I ever read and among my personal favorites. To me, they are basically what the sequel trilogy should've been. Whether you're an EU veteran or a newcomer, The Thrawn Trilogy is highly recommended to any and all Star Wars fans. Speaking of Thrawn in general, since the sequel novel to last year's, well, Thrawn is making its release this July which will be titled, Thrawn: Alliances, I figured that before temporarily jump back into reading the Disney canon SW novels for that, I'll be doing something of a reading marathon of the rest of the old EU Star Wars novels that are written by their author, Timothy Zahn starting off with Allegiance.

Welp, like I said I was going to, picked up Thrawn and the first Republic Commando book the other day. But before I get to either of those, remembered I had picked up Ahsoka a while back and never gotten to it so am reading that now. It's the first young adult Star Wars book I'm reading and... it's not bad. I like reading more about her, especially during this time period after Episode III. But with how quick of a read it's been so far, you can easily tell it's meant for a younger audience.

Finished Star Wars: Allegiance about fours days ago, which incidentally happens on my birthday but I digress, and it is pretty solid and enjoyable especially the fair amount of spotlight that is given to a small group of Storm Troopers and the writing on Luke, Han, and Leia in their appearances in the novel under Zahn's penmanship is is just as good as always. Up next, it's the sequel to Allegiance, Choices of One.

Just finished Star Wars: Scoundrels today and I am now halfway through the Timothy Zahn-penned Old EU SW novels. Time to get back to reading Choices of One.

So recently I’ve been binging all the current Marvel X-books, so far they’re pretty good! All-New Wolverine is definitely my favorite solo book and I am salty as hell Laura is losing the name.
Team wise X-men Blue has been great, with Weapon X being a close second. Now that the Venomized event is over I reaaaaally hope the O5 can go back to the Blue book. |

Taking a break from reading Middle-Earth: From Script To Screen: Building The Worlds of The Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit for a while and starting off on Star Wars: Thrawn: Alliances which just came out recently. I hope the novel would at least be on par with the Thrawn novel that was published last year.

Reading through Ultra Heaven right now. Amazing manga so far and I love every bit of it. The premise and themes are very relevant to our current social conflicts about drugs and drug use for the last 30+ years now. Everyone should read this masterpiece when they get the chance.
