The most recent issue of "Hyper Hobby Magazine" has provided more story details about the upcoming Rider series.
*Kamen Rider Wizard is described as "the first purely magical Kamen Rider." *Wizard will use multiple rings to unlock different powers. His left hand rings trigger Stage Changes while the right hand rings offer a variety of spells, including dragon summoning *Main combat weapon aside from the rings is the WizarSwordGun which needs no explanation. The Full Magical Article! Kamen Rider Wizard premieres September 2nd so until then stay tuned to TokuNation for continuing updates! Last edited by Paladin; 07-03-2012 at 01:58 PM.. |

I called the part about what the hands do. So a purely magic based KR, eh? Can't wait for this to start.

"The first purely magical Kamen Rider" didn't Den-O Agito, and Kuuga use magic to henshin? And, yeah I am really looking forward to Wizard...he has a gunblade! And also he can summon a dragon? Kinda Final Fantasy-ish...I like it also those pictures with Fourze? Friendship is Magic?

Nah. Den-O is based on a train and time-travel. He formed contracts with the Imagin and used them to change forms by inhabiting his body. He's more scientifically based. Albeit really vaguely.

By "Purely magical" Does it mean that Wizard won't rely/use technology at all, or that there are no technological characters/themes at all?

Well considering he has a Gunsword it's safe to assume he's using some technology.

And, I'm just going by aesthetics here, the belt doesn't look the least bit magical. I'm sure it's magically powered but it's not "purely magical".
