Online retailer CD Japan has started to take preorders for a Blu-ray and DVD entitled Zyuden Sentai Kyoruger: BRAVE PRELUDE. This special director's cut release is of the first 4 episodes of the 37th Super Sentai series, adding a total of 15 minutes of new, unseen footage into the mix.
Special Features also include the ending dance video, creditless ending, a solo version of ending and an audio commentary. It will be released on the 13th September, priced 7800 yen (Blu-ray) and 6800 yen (DVD).

Am I translating that right, is that thing really near 80 bucks for BluRay?! ... But... Want so bad...

Yeah. I'm not overly sure specifically why but Japanese home media isn't cheap in general.

Japanese DVDs/BluRays are stupid expensive. A bad memory of mine from my trip to Japan in 2008 was buying an anime DVD "Volume 1-5 box-set" for $150 only to discover when I got back to the hotel room that it only included Volume 1 and an empty box! You had to buy the other 4 volumes separately!
