I'm getting a vibe that Muto Shogo the head writer, doesn't have any idea on how to finish this story and is cranking out completely random stiff that will some how tie itself, and the viewers, into knots at the end.
Shame really, considering how good the beginning of the series was. I could be proven wrong, of course, and I really want to be proven wrong but right now, I'm kind of sceptic. Also, Kazumin should've died. Keeping him alive was a mistake.

Reminder that Gentoku apparently uses government funds to go out to karaoke bare and order big strawberry sundaes. I can ABSOLUTELY see that with the second outfit especially

No surprise there considering that this is the same person who only got his job due to nepotism. Dude has no sense responsibility, at all. Well, he has one now, short of. It only to a three way civil war, grueling torture at the hands of his former enemies and the threat of planetary destruction to instill it in him.

Dangit! I wish they woud stop doing these post-show movies. It’s so weird, especially since this movies come out quite a few episodes before the end of the show. I much prefer the movies to take place shortly before the end or even the weird alternate universe stuff that early Heisei did. Save the epilogue for the crossover movie with the next Rider show!

I am glad because I am not too hype for Build movie because I think about movie story and how this movie ends is quite predictable (chaotic situation in beginning, bad guys appeared, battle between bad guys vs Riders, new Rider from new Series appeared as cameo, bad guys are defeated by Riders, Sento and his friends are wins and happy ending, etc)

That's not entirely true actually, they were canon but they weren't "It takes place afterwards meaning we know that if these characters appear then nothing will happen". They took place in between episodes and stuff. Only Ex-Aid and Build took place after the main story

The only issue I have is that those of us living outside Japan will have to wait 6 months plus to finish up a show with this new way of doing things. As for nothing happening to characters because they are in the movie, that does not mean they are safe from death, mainly since death does not seem to prevent characters from showing up again in the movies in one way or another. |

It should be said that Ex-Aid kinda changed the game a bit by also having a mini series to fully end the main story, and it was pretty popular so I expect us to see something similar for Build.

Though the second issue is how previews have a habit of spoiling the entire reveal for every sentai or rider show for the last 10+ years at this point, not to mention the movie trailers. It was not that bad before Den-O with most of the movies being " what if " stories that did not connect them with the previous one, but these days the movies are required to finish the stories in a lot of cases. To an extent it is not bad since ex-aid was solid as a show and the movies and mini series made a solid conclusion to an already solid show even without them. But at the same time it is pretty clear the shows start production with this in mind making the extra material required material for finishing a series these days. The best thing we can do is not watch the trailers, not much else we can do sadly but even then the posters and everything else gets spammed over every forum and reddit most of us visit to talk about the current shows so we end up being exposed to it either way. And for the love of satan can Ankh actually get a full revival soon ? I am sick of all the OH HE GOES BACK TO BEING DEAD crap when we know our bird friend does come back to life in the future ! STOP TOYING WITH OUR EMOTIONS DAAMN YOU ! It is seriously more interesting to see who gets to actually stay alive after a movie these days then seeing them returning.
