I guess if this is Naruto Racles will be Itachi then.
For a recap episode this was good. We get a fight scene and ample back story.

I called it! Racles was playing Dugded all along. Imagine being stuck in that pretense of despotism for 17 years, while being watched constantly and having to tolerate the company of those who murdered Corsus and Boshimar in cold blood. Damn! Must've been hard for him, but nevertheless, an amazing display of his talent for manipulation and long-term strategy. Looks like Suzume's feelings for him became real when she found out he was secretly a good guy. A relief for Racles to finally have someone to confide his true self in.
Dugded is a moron though. He really gave an immortal-slaying enchantment to the guy he orphaned as a teenager and didn't expect betrayal? I guess being near omnipotent doesn't mean infallibility, if you don't have near omniscience to make wise decisions. Gratifying to see the stag beetle brothers finally team up to take this oppressor down. Bad*ss moment for our King of Evil Gira, dealing the coup de grace with the Ohger Calibur Zero and accepting his connection to the Husty family. Now there's only the remaining Jesters to clean up and while they may not be as intimidating as their boss, their intelligence arguably makes them a bigger threat. Especially Kamejim. A little confused about how the recent Gira plot twist works. Some people speculated that it might've been a lie, but now it seems to be confirmed. Like, he's Racles' little brother, Corsus' son and somehow Dugded's creation as well? How does that even work?

This is probably the worst episode of the series.
First off, Rcules’ reveal makes no goddamn sense. It basically requires you to throw out the massively despicable things he did in all of his major appearances and reimagine what comes off as arrogance (which makes some sense) as a needlessly complex gambit that literally could’ve been resolved without any fuss. And the fact the one telling us this is Kaguragi really doesn’t give any brownie points, given how he’s established he would sell his own grandmother for pennies. Gira’s whole big speech at the end was massively unearned. He didn’t hear either Rcules’ monologue or Kaguragi’s explanation and he has no reason to assume that Rcules has heroic intentions. And there’s the fact this’ll be inevitably all for nothing, since there’s no way this is the end of Dagded (especially since none of the other bad guys have the necessary threat level or intimidation factor to be the final boss), or that they’ll get the chance to use Ohgercalibur ZERO on him again, makes this whole long gambit utterly pointless. At most, I can praise this episode for finally endin the long, boring and frankly superfluous Rcules plotline. |

Personally, I think Episode 33 is the worst. Quote:
