I find this guy going for cheap on Mandarake, but as much as I like it, I'm kinda hoping for a SS release because the more "anime" proportions of these older Figuarts don't appeal to me like the newer, more real-world-accurate designs.

There's always been something a little off about this suit and helmet design to me. Something about that chest plate bugs me to no end.

What kills me about Den-O finally getting S.H.Figuarts versions is that for so long there was nothing that I went and bought the old Souchaku Henshin Toys R Us exclusive Den-O that came with everything.
I am having a hard time opening my wallet after I bought that expensive thing. The quality though by comparison is just too good though. Aaagh |

This figure has effects done right. The detached sword tip and lightning effects are freaking awesome and so appreciated!

I've always liked Den-O from a design standpoint, so this figure appeals to me, even as a slightly older release. I'd be totally okay with this figure over a SS version. I'm sure it would look great next to my Decade.
