I thought about that but a lot of the depictions of Buster show his sword being the same color and style of his armor which means if I painted the sword I'd want to paint his full armor.... which
And also the sword is prepainted a little and I didn't want to go over it again. However, now that I look at it, I might just paint the sword by itself. |

I'll probably do a painting guide for these figures and post it there later!

I use almost entirely Gundam Paint Markers for reasons I've outlined at my painting thread: http://www.tokunation.com/showpost.p...2&postcount=59

After you're done with brown, you can add a white paint marker to "Revitalize" the dried up brown and turn it tan, which is also used on Slash. Gundam markers are essentially composed of two materials - the pigment/color and an alcohol based retarder. This is why its important to always shake them up well before using. When you apply the paint, the retarder evaporates and leaves the pigment. This also means you can add more marker paint to dried up paint to mostly get it going again.

Okay I added some black paint to the interior of Buster's armor and around his neck and mantle. I also realized I had an unused Gundam Marker GM13 which is "metallic grey" so I tried painting the Dogouken Gekido. It's not as metallic as I expected, but I do like how it is a different color for his armor. Unfortunately, the Gunmetal Gundam Marker is a little notorious for being a plastic-eater, so I try not to use it in places covering a large area. Otherwise, I think that would have been a perfect color. You can see I used this gunmetal color on Buster's shoulder pads, waist, and knees where those round discs are. Perhaps I will try a light dry coating of it over this metallic grey paint job later.

You pump a little of each marker onto a small tray then just mix them with a brush. For brown you need 3 colors: yellow, red, and blue. Gundam markers are great but they dry pretty fast so you have to be quick about painting everything.

I still have all of book 4 except for Slash and Kenzan if you're looking for those. Between those and that extra Kenzan, you'll just need Slash.

I'd appreciate that, I'm willing to just buy myself a kenzan if you want one for a custom.

I'll send you a message. I think it's logistically easier if you kept it.
