The Legacy figures sound like they'll be a good replacement for the SHFs, since we're probably never going to see anymore Super Sentai SHFs.

That's because they weren't committed to it in the first place. They only did some of the main characters in a 6inch scale, but did two classics in 8 inches. Then decided to scrap that and do them in 6 inches, then canceled it.
No, I didn't. I've been at an anime con all weekend so I didn't get on here until after midnight. I've been going through multiple sites at the same time to see everything that was revealed. The lack of photos makes it hard for me to get excited. Are these figures actually show accurate? How do they compare to the Figuarts? Do they come with their weapons? How are the sculpts? Do they have as much articulation as Marvel Legends/DC Icons/Figuarts? Does the Green Ranger shield stay attached? Do they have alternate hands? How articulated are their BAFs? How does the sculpt look on those? |

Is no one going to ask them why the regular tails weren't used for Spino and black Rexy?

The first post only says they couldn't take pictures of the Ninja Megazord. You also have to remember, I was reading the front post at top speed while exhausted from a full day. |

Uh... so are the DC Icons that are on display. And the new Marvel Legends reveals. Oh, not to mention all of Mattel's Thundercats, new He-Man and DCU stuff.

So, been lucky enough to see images of these Legacy figures and, as a collector of both Figuarts and Power Rangers figures, will give my best description possible.
- Ball joint ankles (the Green Ranger is displayed in a way where his left leg is "planting", so his leg is bent at an angle that keeps his foot on the ground). There is your standard knee joint, but also appears to have a lower thigh swivel right above the knee joint. - The arms look ball jointed but not in a way that makes it stand out (a little bit in the Ninja Storm Blue Ranger). There appears to be elbow joints, top of the forearm joints (like in the 5" figures), but also a wrist joint. This explains how the Ninja Storm Blue figure, as well as the MMPR Green figure, are ALMOST holding their weapons with two hands. - Detail on the molding - on the Green Ranger figure, it's either rough molding on the legs or there's some of that "cloth fold" molding in place that the Figuarts started using where there's folds or creases in the suit where they naturally appear. - Packaging looked nice - a black and green box with the yellow/gold Power Rangers lightning bolt on what appears to be the interior. A front window and a side window that show the figure. Bottom left front of package has the helmet of the Ranger inside. - Megazords look to have head movement, arm and leg movement, and at least elbow joints. Couldn't tell if there are knee joints. The MMPR Megazord looks like it too has ankle joints because of how the Triceratops head is molded (there's a separation when it connects to the rest of the foot/leg, like it can move or at least swivel a bit). - There's some puffyness in the chests for both the guys and the girls. The girls don't look to be too extreme as we've seen in the past. The guys look (again, this is from a picture that isn't focused on the figures) to have a wide chest with some visible pecks, but not like the 5" figures where they look chiseled and straight out of a body builder magazine. Most importantly - these do not resemble Armored Might figures. At all. Not even in the slightest. They are closer to S.H. Figuarts, but ... thicker? Wider? I don't know how to describe it. They aren't skinny/lanky, but they aren't muscle building freaks either. Please understand that I can't share the pictures that I have been shown. To begin with, they are not mine to share. Secondly, Bandai specifically asked that these figures do not be photographed and shared out because they discovered some details on the figures that they plan to change - they don't want people to see them and then not be happy with the end result, or be unhappy with what they see ahead of time. They are extremely excited about these figures and we will comply with their wishes.

Thanks for the description you can give. Were they doubled jointed elbows and knees though? Also, did it look like Green Ranger could play his Dagger like the Figuarts one could? I mean, if I already have the full team in Figuart form, is it even going to be worth getting the Legacy MMPR team?
