Tamashii Nations enter the realm of high end statues with this impressive piece celebrating the 10th anniversary of Ultraman Zero!
This Tamashii web exclusive piece does not coming cheap though, releasing in July 2021 for the price of 132,000 yen.

This is awesome. But beyond the price - this is way too big, I have no place to properly it even if I would consider paying the price.

I never reaaaally got the appeal of super pricey statues like this. Like sure I'm an action figure girl, I have a bias for figures that I can customise the pose of right off the bat; but I look at statues with pricetags this large and don't understand how they sell or who exactly is the market for them.

The eye of the beholder, I guess. All I know is that scale figures are a bigger market than action figures in Japan. |
