Out of boredom, I am watching the first two episodes of Fiveman on YouTube.

Watched Episodes 11-14 of Kakuranger. 11 was fun, I like Saizai's wackiness. 12 was anticlimatic all over (really could've done with being a 2 parter). 13 was boring. 14 was cool, seeing the introduction of a new (awesome) villain and a bit of a different episode structure. I'm pretty 50/50 on the show so far, so hope it picks up from here.
Also watched Episode 1 of GoGoV. Not the greatest opener (bit too light on character/plot), but it was certainly different between the family dynamic, rescuing over a small-sized monster fight, and seeing all the practical footage of the individual mechs was cool. And Timeranger Episodes 1-2. Now that is how you start a series. Absolutely fantastic. Part of me wants to binge the rest, but I'm trying out a few different shows, so I have a good list of things to watch... |

Yup, bit episodic for my taste, though the characters were pretty great and there were some standout episodes (mostly anything with MegaPink as focus). Carranger is my absolute favourite, followed by Dairanger, Gekiranger, Abaranger and Gokaiger (also nostalgic for Magiranger and Hurricanger, though I need to rewatch those - haven't seen them in over a decade).

I've got a few on my watchlist right now Carranger, Ohranger, Zyuranger, Jetman, GoGoV, Abaranger, Liveman, Megaranger & Gingaman. I'll get around to watching all of them at some point growing up on MMPR makes Zyu a bit difficult to watch for me. im about 5 episodes in now and can I just say that Mei does NOT help those feelings lol Last edited by Denshin48; 03-07-2018 at 02:53 PM.. |

Great taste!
Anyway, I love so many Sentai themes, even when they're attached to shows I don't even like Such high energy and fun~

Someone turned me on to the Shinkenger theme and as my only exposure to that was Samurai I kinda wanna see how the source material stacks up though admittedly there really isn't much to stack in Samurai's case
