...Please? Ichijo is a figure I'd value just as much as Amazing Mighty.

Y'all are going to be so disappointed when the first non-Kuuga Kuuga figure they make is Pops.

It won't be a true Pops figure unless he gets advertised with confusion over what the heck Shinkoucchou Seihou is supposed to mean.

That one’s easy, though. True Bone Carving! You know, Sarah Harding? Yeah!

I always don't understand, what "True Bone Carving" means?

It means that the Seihou line of figure specifically aim to be as accurate as possible to the actual suits used on the show(hence "True Bone"), as well as being higher end in terms of quality and accessories than the typical SHF.

I believe it’s also meant to represent their evolution as a figure company. The earliest SHFs were done by recreating a skeleton in an attempt to get an accurate look — which didn’t turn out so well and is why SHFs had a spindly, proportionately off appearance for quite a while. As such, “true” bone carving is representing them getting it right; imagining these figures and sculpts as people inside suits; as of course all Tokusatsu designs are. Basically, it took em a bit, but they finally got the skeleton thing down!

Yep, proportions has always been a recurring issue in the SH Figuarts line for Kamen Rider. This isn't just an issue among early Figuarts. Even modern, non-SS Figuarts don't exactly have perfect proportions and sometimes they go completely off the book.

The Zi-O and Zero One Figuarts, while good figures, definitely feel a bit off in terms of proportions IMO.
Ex-aid and Build are peak, non-SS, Figuarts. |
