Walking along, Taylor thought everything was fine. And it was, until she was abducted by some strange, mumbling creatures. Scared, she went to scream but was quickly knocked out. When she awoke, she found herself tasting a salty sea breeze and feeling sand underneath her back. "A beach," she thought aloud. "How on earth did I get here?" The sky was dark, and when she looked up, she found out why; the sun was blocked out, hidden behind the moon. She shielded her eyes and stood up, but found she couldn't move from her spot. It was like someone had super glued her feet to the ground. This was getting strange. Panicking and shouting out for help, she cried, "Help! Can anyone hear me!" The response that came was pain, strong and sharp. It knocked the breath out of her and forced her to the ground. Screams rang out around her, from other people being tortured by this mysterious event. She tried to look around but couldn't- it caused too much pain, Instead, she stared at her hands, which were beginning to be covered in purple cracks-purple gateways to hell. In the corner of her eye, Taylor saw a person. Her whole body was covered in the purple cracks, and suddenly she shattered. She fell apart, revealing a green monster. I looked around casually and jumped away, above Taylor's head. She heard screams becoming quieter, the noise dimming, presumably because more people were shattering and turning into these monsters. Taylor wasn't giving up though. She had to hang on. Ignoring the agony, she forced herself to look at the sky, at the moon covered sun, and promised herself something: she would live to see that sun again. Looking down at her body, she realised her entire body was covered in cracks. Screaming, she held on to her promise and restored her hope. She would survive this. As she passed out from the pain, she failed to realise something; her arms flashing, the cracks disappearing.

Henshin 01: A Mystical Birth
When Taylor awoke, the light was blinding. She found herself on a beach, which looked sort of pretty now that people weren’t being mass murdered on it. Looking around, though, she couldn’t see any signs of it. Maybe she had just been drunk, or high, and had imagined the whole thing. She didn’t remember going to any bars, though. Strange. So she turned around to leave. That was when she noticed the red elephant monster jumping off the cliff towards her. All she had time to think was ‘Oh God’ before it landed on a glowing, gold circle. It sparked and fizzed against the elephant, but the monster was quickly repelled off it, exploding in the process. Turning fully around, Taylor saw her saviour; a white cloaked man, with a jewel for a face. His belt had a red hand on it, and on his fingers were blue rings. Apart from that, there wasn’t much else to notice, until he spoke. “Taylor Roberts.” His voice had grandeur and a commanding tone, and it was impossible not to respect him. “You have survived. You have not become a Phantom. You now have the potential to become a Wizard. You will use our magic. You will defeat the Phantoms, and you will prevent the deaths of any more gates.” Taylor simply stood there, while this weirdo in a robe tried to give her a belt like his, only with a gold-rimmed hand. She figured she should take it. After all, free stuff - what’s to lose? She took the belt, and it immediately affixed itself around her waist. The White Wizard smiled, passing her four rings – one that was red like a cut ruby, the others circular, set in a metal ring with various pictures of dragons on them. “Now, I shall be gone,” announced the Wizard, flipping the hand on his belt and holding a ring to it. [I]Teleport, Now![I/] The White Wizard disappeared into nowhere, leaving Taylor standing there, mouth agape, totally shocked. It was about ten minutes later she realised two things: one, she was hungry and two, she was stuck. She didn’t want to die out there, so she started searching for a source of water. 17 minutes later, she had circled the island and found no rivers leading out to sea. The island looked to be barren, with no life at all. “Great!” she shouted to no one in particular. “I’m freaking stuck here! I’ve got no food, no water and no phone signal! I’m gonna die here!” “Yes. You are.” Taylor barely had the time to move out of the way before s blade landed where she had been. The monster that had attacked her was red, with scaly armour and a black under-body. It spun its blade it its hands, slowly advancing on Taylor, who had backed up against the cliff wall. “You fear death. Strange. My body knew fear. But then it turned into me. I know no fear.”“Is all you do spout philosophy?” Taylor asked sarcastically, trying to mask her fear. “No. I cause despair. You’ll know it soon. Maybe when I cut you open.”With the monster advancing, Taylor was terrified, but she hadn’t given up hope yet. If that White Wizard could fight off those things, she could too, somehow. It must be something to do with the belt and the rings. She didn’t know what to do though, until she felt a voice inside her, saying, “Flip the switch and scan the ring.” So she did. She flicked the switch on the side of the hand, and the belt started chanting, “Shabadoobie, Touch to Henshin!” The monster paused, surprised by the sudden noise, giving Taylor time to scan the red ring. “Henshin!” she shouted, commanded by the voice inside her. Flame, Please! A red ring burst out of the belt, pushing back the monster and quickly growing to the size of a person. It started to move backwards and passed over Taylor, transforming her into a red-jewelled, armoured warrior. The monster glanced up at the figure while standing up, only to see it charging towards it. The monster blocked the attack, but was forced backwards. Taylor, meanwhile, was focused on this … what was it that the wizard called it? A phantom? ‘Sure, let’s go with that’, she thought. She flipped the belt face again, and scanned another ring. Connect, Please Another ring opened up, and Taylor reached in, grabbed a sword, and pulled it out. She slashed at the monster, which was forced onto its knees by the blow. She flipped the belt face one more time, and scanned a final ring. Chouinai, Kick Strike! Seikou! Her foot was set on fire, and she flipped around towards the monster until she kicked it with her flaming foot. It was pushed back, with Taylor continuing to force it backwards, until she jumped of and landed back where she started. “Take that, you-“ she started to say, until the monster exploded in a large explosion, cutting her off. “Okay… What the hell just happened?!” “You just defeated your first phantom.” The White Wizard had reappeared, and he was walking up the beach. “You need to keep doing that, otherwise-“ “What do you mean ‘keep doing that’? And where were you during that fight? I could have used your stupid help!" “It was a test to see if you were worthy of becoming a magician. You have succeeded, and I grant you more power as a result." He held out two more rings, coloured blue and green, but Taylor just stared at him. "Aren’t you going to answer my questions?” “No.” With that, he scanned a ring on his belt, and Taylor felt her surroundings fade as she fell into a sleep. When she woke up, she saw an unfamiliar roof. She sat up, wondering where she was. ‘Thank God’ she thought. ‘I was just dreaming’. She stood up, looked in the mirror, and felt her heart sink again. Her clothes had changed into a mix of red and black, and her belt had a hand on it. Her fingers were also covered in rings, three on each hand. She sighed, but heard a door open, so she spun around, ready to defend herself from whatever monster wanted her now. Outside, the White Wizard chuckled in his grand, commanding tone. “Good. Let her be ready. Kamen Rider Wizard!” Ending Theme: Life is Showtime ----- So, please post reviews and stuff. I would make me feel really good about writing this!
