I really don't understand the flak the Figuarts system gets. It works fine a good majority of the time.

I've never had any real problems with Figuarts and swapping hands either. Some are more of a pain in the ass (W) and some do give me some hesitation either due to experience of others or joints that "look" a bit thinner than others (Sharivan, after seeing what happened to some Gavans...probably a couple others I'm not thinking of).
I don't mind the Figma wrist pegs (or SICs, though not all of them use the wrist pegs)...but not having any become loose enough to easily fall out of the forearm makes that easy to say. Should/when that happens, I imagine my stance will change quite a bit. Anyways, just paid off my order with Kurokage at NY. Unfortunately I won't see it or the Ultra-Act "Dark" two-pack until November because Bujin Gaim's part of the order too. I guess I'll see whether that order beats shipping out ahead of my November order with Femme. |

The only Figuart that ever gave me trouble was Kyoryu Red. His Armed On was a pain in the ass to put on. I just decided to never use it because of that.

The hand-joints are okay. Only minor problem I had was with Ryugen, one of the joints was put in the wrong way, resulting in the hand pulling out the entire joint when I wanted to swap it.
But I just put it in the other way and since then I have no problems, the joint locked in and I can swap hands easily. |

The only figures I have with wrist joint issues are Gavan, Venus, and Krillin. Venus I was able to exchange for a new one though. The problem was whenever I removed the hand the peg would come with it unless I held onto the wrist really tightly. Haven't had an issue with KyoryuRed.

I think Ryugen might be my favrioute of the Gaim Figuarts I currenty have.
The Shoulder pads are a little annoying, but the paint work on him is gorgeous. |

So I had an experience today speaking of joints. I went to swap the (my) left hand of Ichigo (Original Version) and the entire joint came out of the figure. It didn't break, it just popped/slid out. I was able to get it back in (pretty easy to do) and after a while actually pop the hand off.
I've never had this happen with any figuart before and while Ichigo's hands are a bit hard to get off, the joint has never come off with them. So I don't know if I was a little too rough this time (I applied the same force I always used) or the it's just the figure itself. Figured I'd share this fun time experience.

in all my action figure collecting, the only casualty I've ever had with wrist pegs was Gridman. Broke my heart when that happened...Have been lucky with the rest.
