Full Disclosure: The only thing I know about Saint Saiya itself came from the show when it was dubbed and aired on Cartoon Network, with Bowling for Soup doing that cover on I Ran by Flock of Seagulls. And I don't actually own any of these. But I figure there has to be fans of them on this website somewhere. They certainly look like they'd be beautiful on a shelf.
So does anyone have these? If you love them, come talk about them! |

Seen a lot of these on various toy review websites. They do look cool. Can anyone give a good introduction?

What would you like to know? Saint Seiya Myth Cloth line has been around for a while now, gone through several versions. Currently they have the EX version that has the most update body and more poseable armors. All the armors are made out of diecast and some plastic. Most of the armors are put in place via friction and clips, so the figures can be fiddly at times, using a stand helps usually. Most like poseable art pieces rather than every day play toys. Ask some questions and I'll try to answer them

Are they durable? I mean, if I display one and it falls backward on the shelf, am I going to hve to worry about a limb flying off and taking my eye out? Or snapping something off just applying the armor?

I've seen baltmatrix review one or two and from what I've seen, they're a curiosity I'd like to explore. If only to get one. ($$$=depressed wallet)
Saint Seiya, Gransazer, the Zodiarts, I keep wanting to make some original story involving the Western Zodiac and Henshin Heroes but keep thinking "that'd be a lazy ripoff of other people's ideas." My Gemini keeps coming across as Xtreme with Heat Trigger's colors in appearance. Sorry about that slight derailment, I know that's OOO's thing, back to Saint Seiya. Capricorn looks cool. Gold and Shiny. |

How's the show like? Is it fun? I know CollectionDX has some pretty reviews on the toys, they do look really good.

Used to have a LOT more Decided to go in a different direction with my collection, so I only kept the core ones and sold off all the gold saints, I got the Gemini EX because it's my sign The show is pretty good, albeit a little repetitive at times, but most anime does that to recycle the fighting footage.
