I don't know if anyone has already posted about this but, Premium Bandai Japan site is taking a survey on overseas customers. Recently Bandai has made some of their web exclusive items available for purchase through approved middle-man dealers. Now it seem they are surveying what their overseas customers want. Maybe, if enough people take the survey, Bandai will ship directly overseas. This could be a huge win for collectors in countries that Bandai will be able to ship to.
You can take the survey here and let them know that you want to buy toku items and others direct from them. |

Filled it out.
I really do hope they make more stuff available to purchase overseas. I was really excited a bit back for like two seconds when I first saw they were offering middle man services, but was then really disappointed to see there were only like 4 things you could get that way. And none of it that interested me. If they would just let me order Kamen Rider stuff from them it'd be a dream come true. |

Survey taken. Thanks for pointing that out! Here's hoping we get some opportunities to buy direct in the future. Though with the way toy rights are, I don't know. I'd expect Rider stuff to be easy, but Sentai, Marvel, and Macross (maybe especially Macross) might be hard to finagle. I will keep my fingers crossed.

I REALLY hope they bring Web Exclusive Riders here but it isn't that popular so probably not.

Filled it out. I really hope this goes somewhere. It's 2016 for Pete's sake, how do they not ship overseas yet?

Many countries have various laws and regulations on what can be sold and shipped from foreign countries. Companies have to adhere to whatever those laws are, some outright prevent them from selling items directly. Sometimes merchandise needs to be altered to meet a countries safety standards, such as orange barrel tips on toy guns in the US. A lot of legal consideration needs to be done before any foreign country can sell their merchandise to another.

It's just interest. As evidenced by Bandai wanting only foreign responses (And English answers) in the survey, they just want to know if the non-Japanese market wants in on the merch. And I filled it out, too~
