Well well well look what finally came in after a 3 month surface mail journey from Zenmarket:
I took a chance on one of those "As is" Kamen Rider junk lots for ¥1. Once I got it quoted for shipment I was astonished to see the price was so high (around $30 but I also added some non-toku stuff in the shipment). This was definitely the culprit: The one thing I actually wanted from the lot! A giant light up Faiz figure, though I did not realize just how big it was when I ordered it (SHF Genm for scale, it was not part of the lot!) A quick inventory shows: - Fourze module set (I've been tracking prices for this on eBay and it seems like no one wants it for even $5 shipped!) - a bunch of stickers which come with Ganbarazing cards - Kamen Rider Sabaki Sofubi - Kamen Rider Heisei Generations Final movie companion magazine and what looks like associated McDonalds toys. When you push Exx-Aid's belt in, he swings his hammer! Cute! - a Decade & W DVD - seems like its from the Taisen movie. - a bunch of random keychains. Now these I actually really like. They are prohibitive to import from Japan because they are usually only found in 7-Elevens. They are tiny Kamen Rider keychains of the rider and an associated tool (like a henshin belt or gimmick device or in Den-O's case, a tiny Momotaros. I actually have a complete Heisei phase 1 set except for Faiz . I put two of my own on the right still sealed). I'm super happy to get Double in this line because I always associate Phase 1 with Kuuga - Double. If anyone ever finds Faiz please let me know!!! Also that little Double figure is holding a green sandal! - a deck of Blade cards. It looks like some sort of card game. It has instructions and a playing mat. There were also some Ganbaride cards in there. - Gashapon core medals candy toy ver. and buttabasol tokens - Momotaros full bottle (appears empty so GP version?) and mini henshin devices. - a set of Gaim mini figures. I am almost certain these are from a board game - this array of figures. I actually like the Stronger figure a lot, its nice and heavy but if you look closely Tackle is missing an arm! I don't recall that happening in the show... I'm gonna put that Skull figure on my luggage and see how long it takes before someone recognizes him. - also 2 sets of Kamen Rider Wizard Driver DX belt parts. How random! Was it worth it? Probably not because of the shipping. If I could've got the shipping to be more like $15-20 and not take 3 months... But I think this Faiz figure is pretty rare? Idk, but its one of my favorite designs so I'll take it! I'm planning to paint up some more details on it and wire it so it lights up permanently. Update: The Faiz figure reeks of battery acid smell and has corrosion in the battery compartment. It's gonna take some effort to restore it

Can you post a picture of this guy? And would you be willing to part with it?

I updated the post with a better image of the sofubi. It is a 6" Sofubi and its the best condition item in the whole lot . I'm more than happy to part with with if you just pay for shipping.

Also, since you're doing me this solid: +2 Rider Points, and Kamen Rider Ibuki respects your decision to part ways with an Oni. Please adjust your TokuNation scorecard accordingly.

Wow. Shishileo, those arent just playing cards. Thats a stack of Rouse cards for the DX Blade toyline. Nice find. I guess they were also part of a cardgame since you say they came with a mat. And i think the Decade and W dvd u got has one of the Shikishi art pieces behind it. I cant really see if you posted the pic of just the dvd, but i only see the dvd in the lot pic.
The momotaros full bottle is a telebi-kun pack in, The gaim kiwami looks to be a 66 action figure, the sticker sets with Ganbarizing cards look to the ones they gave out with purchases for the Decade toyline. The W & OOO stickers were given with ticket purchases or the ones sold at theatre concession. And you managed to grab a set of Ganbaride cards that were given away with ticket purchases for the third film in Den-O Red, Blue, Yellow trilogy. All in all not a bad lot, besides the rouse cards, most of this stuff you cant really find online or at a decent price. So i guess regardless of the shipping, you got some pretty uncommon pieces. Also just out of curiosity, did you get an OOO poster with like a full shot of him in the lot? I saw it in the lot pic and was just wondering. Last edited by KaiserBlue; 11-13-2020 at 07:52 PM.. |

Yeah I looked through the cards and realized they are Rouse cards. Interestingly, the entire club set is missing so the previous own probably bet them just for his Leangle DX set? Although Change: Spider is in there!
I did find the Shikishi art which was a total surprise because all this stuff looks old from around 2010-2012 before I thought Shikishi art was a thing? It turns out the DVD came with one of the magazines. And there's another DVD in one of the other magazines. Turns out I already own the Momotaros full bottle! So this is a spare which I might mod with a weight or sand inside. The Kiwami figure is actually from a line called "THE Kamen Riders", a progenitor to the Converge series which died off before the end of Heisei sadly. The OOO picture is actually the other side of that white magazine with Double and Skull on it. It's a companion book to their crossover movie. It was fun to go trough everything!

Lol. Shikishi used to be given out exclusively through ichiban kujis or pack ins with dvds before they were sold in blind packs. Maybe the dvd was part of an ichiban gift. Still quite a find.
The rouse cards are probably not from a single set but were stored in that blade box for safekeeping. The owner either never got the club set or kept the club set and sold off the rest, who knows. If the momotaros is a spare, would you be willing to part with it ? Lol, i was unable to pick up a copy of the telebi issue it came in due to my preorder being canceled and missed out |

If your planning on modding it, sand would leak out at some point. If you want to have the piston gimmick working luke standard bottles, you may need to drill the bottle to and do a mod to transplant a dx bottles insides or a 3d printed equivalent. A lot of japanese youtuber have done these same mods on gp and sg bottles, so look em up for some alternative methods.

Ok wow you all, I almost gave up on this so many times. There was so so much battery acid corrosion. I used up a whole lime and then I went out and picked up some distilled vinegar to help even more.
As always, I forgot to take before pics, but the acid had spilled into the figure and got all over the PCB. Some of the traces were exposed so I applied some electrical tape. This part here where the black grounding wire goes into the battery compartment I could not desolder for whatever reason. I ended up cutting up whatever was in the way (some mix of solder, glue, and tape?). The smell of burnt plastic got real heavy as I applied a new solder point. The red terminal went in and out cleanly without a hitch. I popped in some fresh batteries and then... We had lights! And then I heard it, the silky smooth tone "Standing by." It worked! Lights and sounds and everything. I could not assemble it fast enough. I'm sure I missed an internal screw somewhere but oh well. It's cleaned up and assembled now! Here's a quick video I did: https://imgur.com/pMj7YCu There is either a light leaking in his shoulder, or the PCB is messed up and lighting up a part that it should not. It's fine with me. Also seems like it's missing the lights at the belt- that's probably where the corrosion hit the pcb. I'll see how long I will go before it bothers me enough to try and fix it. The eyes stay light until you switch it off. It has 3 modes. 1 for the punch, 1 for the kick, and one that looks like a demo mode where the lights just cycle and glow. This thing is totally awesome, Bandai needs to make modern versions. My fingers smell like battery acid, vinegar, and alcohol (that last one was for cleaning I promise)
