Wasn't Miu basically begging to get him in the sack? Or at least dance with him at Prom?
And is Fourze better than Gokaiger? Well, I'd say comparing the two series at the same point in episodes ... yes, Fourze at 32 is better than Gokaiger at 32. But it's going to be about how Fourze finishes that counts. We still have a lot of Horoscopes to go through, and the final power-up has already been shown.

I'm not prepared to call Fourze better than Gokagier but I do think it has surpassed OOOs and this episode is a perfect example why.
The application of Cosmic States keeps perfectly in theme with the original idea of the show; friendship remains the driving force for Gentaro both on and off the battlefield to the point where his life is saved by his friends' gesture. By contrast, OOO's theme of "desire is powerful and necessary" was counteracted with the Purple Medal introduction; since Purple is fueled by the ABSENCE of desire the message is lost and as a result OOOs suffered from a rather weak finish. And if they really are picking up the pace in Fourze now & introducing more Horoscopes, great. Series might wind up exceeding my expectations. |

Great episode, very packed. You know, Cosmic States' debut and the stuff about Ryusei could have easily been 2 separate arcs, but as 1, it makes for a really eventful set of episodes. And while the wormhole-sword is pretty cool, the robot that launches dirt-bikes into orbit is still the coolest.

Sorry, but I don't think a comparison of the 2 can really be drawn. They're about fundamentally different things. Pirates using legacy powers from 200 other heroes and fighting an intergalactic empire. And then kids in high school fighting an evil principal and his space conspiracy. I just don't think the comparison can be made honestly. They are both fantastic shows in they're own right but I don't think one is particularly better than the other.
The fight scenes have improved tremendously, I CARE about the characters more than I used to, and I am eager to see how things play out ... and of course, the first henshin with Ryu and Gen together. |

But if you use that logic, you can't really compare Gokaiger to anything other than Decade ... that includes Gobuster, Goseiger, Shinkeneger, etc. In terms of storyline, Fourze has me more interested in what happens the next episode for the characters than Gokaiger did at this point - I admit, I tuned in to Gokaiger for the middle episodes simply to see if a favorite hero of mine would be used or not (RIP KING RANGER, RIP). With Fourze, I am constantly at the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens next.

As for episode comparison yes Fourze is VERY strong after what we just saw but at episode 32 of Gokaiger they were also strong. Doc tried helping and failed then tried again and succeeded in building the Galleon Buster. That was a pretty important episode as well. It introduced the final weapon that would kill the emperor in the final episode as well as many other villains. I'm not trying to argue your point, Fourze is a fantastically strong series that has nowhere to go but up. I enjoy the hell out of it every week. This past week the most of all but when you say it's better than Gokaiger.... thems fightin' words

I don't think Gokaiger was that strong...
None of the characters actually grew. |

With that said, Fourze's character development is simply awesome, I love almost every character they had on screen.
