With the anniversary coming up, this thread is dedicated to discussing the kind of things you'd like (no matter how unlikely!) to see in the series that celebrates it, whether its a Goseiger adaptation, a Gokaiger one or some weird combination of the two.
I'll get the ball rolling; Returning Rangers This is a pretty obvious one since it went down so well in Gokaiger. Obviously my top choice for returning characters is Tommy, but here's a few others I'd like to see. Any of the original MMPR team prior to Tommy's arrival RJ (Jungle Fury) Cole (Wild Force) Bridge (SPD) Returning non-ranger characters Alpha 5/6 - It just has to be done Lord Zedd and/or Rita Remnants of the Machine Empire ala 'Forever Red' Jindrax and Toxica - Since there was never a Ninja Storm/Wild Force team up, these two just disappeared off into the sunset. I'd quite like to see them return for a potential Wild Force tribute. Other things If Saban do indeed skip straight to Gokaiger, I'd like to see the Goseigers worked into the plot as a rival team and/or antagonists to the pirate rangers (maybe as an alternative to Basco?). It'd be pretty cool to see two ranger teams running around at the same time.

Personally I hope to see an epic final war along the lines of In Space, with the various Ranger teams fighting across multiple locales and the main team fighting the main big bad.

Obviously they'd come back to the side of good in the end, and then there'd be an awesome 2-team fight against the villains Quote:

I'd like to see the Dragonzord be the grand power for MMPR. It can be left out of GouJyuJin.

I was thinking a long the lines of having the Goseiger team an honest ranger team, but one that has been brainwashed by the Zangyack (or the US equivalent) into thinking that their way of law and order is the right one. The Goseiger aesthetic could easily be passed off as royal knights or something.
Obviously they'd come back to the side of good in the end, and then there'd be an awesome 2-team fight against the villains Maybe the Big Bad becomes the abomination that is Black Cross King/Colossus we saw in the 199 hero movie, and the finale has all the past mecha. All it would need to work is a way to fit Varibloom into the story and new footage that shows only post-Zyu mecha (not too hard considering all the mecha that were actually suited in the fight were GoGo V and newer). The reason I think this scene might work is because Gosei Great and Gokaioh play the biggest parts in this fight, and that they don't have recorded footage for any pre-Zyu mecha (it was just spliced in from older footage).

I was actually kind of hoping (If it's a Gokaiger adaptation), the Goseigers would pull an Alien Ranger sort of thing, except angels instead of aliens.
Anyway, I'd like to see the basic Gokaiger plot stay (Pirates, previous heroes lose their powers, collect ultimate powers), but I'd like the 6th ranger/Non-Ranger suited characters have a different story. Maybe something like the extra members who can form a basic ranger team (Such as the Quantum Ranger, Ninjor, SPD Kat, Dino White, and the Magna Defender or something) because the main teams lost their powers. *Shrugs* |

If you're adapting Gokaiger, I already have my fanboy storyline >_<
Zordon has been revived (or rather, his essence re-gathered) and he himself is now a Power Ranger - (basically, AkaRed). When the Zangyack (or hey, why not just revitalized Machine Empire) invades the Earth again in revenge of the destruction of King Mondo, Queen Machina, Prince Sprocket, Prince Gasket, Archerina, and General Venjix, Zordon uses his powers to bring back power to all the Power Rangers. To stop the Machine Empire's new "Doomsday" weapon, Zordon has all the Power Rangers combine their powers for one final attack ... and destroys the Machine Empire invasion force. Or so we think. Zordon had been training a new Red Ranger on Eltar, to prepare him in case the Machine Empire was victorious in their attack on the Earth. When Zordon leaves for Earth, he tells his new Red Ranger to set course for Earth - that the greatest treasure in the Universe is there (obviously he doesn't mean jewels/money etc. but our new Red Ranger is a little rough around the edges). The new Red Ranger takes his ship to Earth but is intercepted by the Machine Empire and the new Prince and his invasion fleet. The Red Ranger is able to fend off the first wave of the invasion force, but crash lands on Earth after taking heavy fire. He realizes he needs to fix his ship. He happens to land ... in Angel Grove. As he is salvaging parts, he's attacked by Gormins (the upgraded version of Cogs). Four local high school students accidently wind up in the middle of the fight with him. When the Super Gormins arrive, he morphs in to the Red Ranger, but he's still being over-powered. He tells the four teenagers to leave but they refuse - they continually attack the Super Gormins and are easily knocked down time and time again. Reluctant but not knowing how else to win, he gives them the Cellular Morphers as well as their own Ranger Key. He instructs them how to morph and they do so and beat the Super Gormins (after a quick switch in to the MMPR team). He takes back the morphers and tries to leave, but the teenagers overhear him talking to Alpha 5 (yup, bye Navi) how the Machine Empire is headed to Earth in full assault, and the teens decide they want to help save the Earth. Next few episodes deal with the Red Ranger getting to know and trust his new team. Obviously a few bits: - The team call out via the morpher is Zordon's voice - Story takes us back to Angel Grove, along with the new Machine Empire - The introduction of Gokai Silver will actually be revealed to be the son of a former Power Ranger whose father is missing, but before the great battle was visited by three different Power Rangers (Green Ranger, White Dino Ranger, Quantum Ranger) and given his morpher and key to prepare for the Machine Empire's invasion. This allows for Gokai Silver to be a LITTLE younger (and explain his always jumping around-ness), as well as a later-episode homage when his father is revealed (personally, I'm thinking son of Wes and Jen from Time Force and from the future, with Eric as the Quantum Ranger visiting him). - Guest appearances by: - - Tommy (MMPR, Zeo, Turbo, Dino Thunder, also seen in Wild Force) - - Adam (MMPR, Zeo, Turbo, also seen in In Space, Operation Overdrive) - - Jason (MMPR, Zeo, also seen in Wild Force) - - Kat (MMPR, Zeo, Turbo) - - Cassie (Turbo, In Space, also seen in Lost Galaxy) - - All of the Power Rangers Samurai team - - Gem, Gemma, and Summer (RPM) - - RJ (Jungle Fury) - - Mike (Lost Galaxy Magna Defender) Yeah. I'm a fanboy. |

I'd like to see DVD season sets, personally.
All kidding aside, I would really like to see a return of the cast members from the MMPR era. it would be neat to get characters from the entire run popping up, but if they can give me an honest to Zordon old school MMPR crew to team up with the Americanized Gokaigers then I will be a happy fan.
