Tire Koukan!
TokuNation returns to start your engine again! Following the very well received inaugural release in this toyline, TK-01 Drive Type Speed, Bandai has just released TK-02! This Tire set features 3 of Drive's handy Tires for different situations. Funky Spike, Just Hunter, & Mad Monster! **Be sure to head over to our front page (or down below) and check my good pal Baltmatrix's video review of this set! Packaging Nothing new to report here since Drives release. The mass retail toylines don't tend to have the fancy bells and whistles of Bandai's collector lines but they get the job done. Yet again this box is very similar to that of an Arms Change albeit much slimmer as the Tires aren't nearly as cumbersome as Arms were. This will be a fairly short and simple review. As this set doesn't really include a figure but just accessories for one. Funky Spike Here we have quite the generic Tire. Funky Spike is easily the one dud in the line thus far. It's a fairly basic dully sculpted tire with what can generously be called spikes on it's outer edge. Frankly it does nothing. Use it as you see fit but it doesn't do anything of significance. Justice Hunter A step in the right direction. Justice Hunter reminds me a bit of a white walled tire on a classic muscle car. The tread's interesting on this one and the colors match Drive's default form quite well. Pegged onto the side of the tire is a grill like weapon called the Justice Cage. Meant to be a blunt weapon for beating Roidmudes the toy is pretty basic. Just an added accessory for more play value. Of course in the show it can become a large person sized cage but there's no way to replicate that in toy form. Massive Monster By far the most interesting tire in this set, or in fact the line thus far, is Massive Monster. Much like Justice Hunter, Monster has an accessory attached to it. Or rather is encased in one giant awesome accessory. Sculpted into the scaly green face of a monster. Remove the two green monster halves encasing the tire and you have the actual Massive Monster, an awesomely sculpted purple tire with a wicked little monster face on it. The two halves, literally just called Monster, make for a pair of almost Gekirin type weapons and can be used for biting attacks. This is by far the neatest tire in the set with the most creativity. Final Thoughts Clearly this set is really only a necessity if you own TK-01 Drive already. Without him the tires won't serve much purpose, unless you have DX Tridoron. Though the TK-02 set requires Drive himself, it's a relatively rewarding set. I'm satisfied with my purchase for Massive Monster alone. Though the other included tires leave much to be desired I've walked (or rather drivem) away happy.

My video review is already on the main page but I'm just going to add it here to the gallery as well.

I think you're video must have netted this gallery a ton of views. Because the numbers are insane on this one right now

Which is funny because the gallery has over twice the number of views as my video.
