That's right, the renowned prop maker Aniki Cosplay (Aniki Kreasi Imaji Inc.) has signed a licensing deal with Saban Brands. Thus making ALL of their Power Rangers helmet replicas OFFICIAL products!
See Aniki's Instagram post for the official announcement. We at TokuNation were actually made aware of this in February, but out of respect for Aniki Cosplay chose not to report the news without first consulting Saban Brands. Having reached out to Saban Brands several times we were told that they would be back in touch with us. However, despite several follow ups on our end, there was never any further communication from Saban. Congratulations to Aniki Cosplay!

Well this seems kind of awkward. Mainly because Saban sold the licensing to Hasbro. So...odd.

With Hasbro purchasing Power Rangers from Saban how does this deal work now? I hope it is still in place for you.

Worst case scenario, it expires on 1st April 2019, but I hope they knew about Hasbro before hand.

They just acquired the licensing from Saban Brands and Saban Brands will cease to exist this July. Awkward.

Yeah, I don't understand who cares about this. Aniki has been making helmets for a long time without the license. So, what does the license do? Prevent him from getting sued by Saban? Raise costs on customers? As has been asked numerous times now, with Saban Brands dissolving, are we supposed to be excited about a licensing agreement that will last less than a year? Or is it set to somehow continue? Bizarre choice of reporting.
