So... Lord Zedd.... Legacy Lord Zedd? I'm seeing the same exact figure that was released as a chase figure some years back along with Green Ranger, White Ranger, and Gold Zeo Ranger. What's the difference? A chromed Z staff?

Not only that, it came with two of its big guns instead of the regular retail version's one, and as an homage to the original G1 figure, its upper legs were chrome instead of plain white plastic.

Maybe it'll be like Bruticus: the SDCC one will be show-accurate, and the retail one'll look like dollar store ko.

Ah. I never paid too much attention as I really wouldn't have any room to put that new Metroplex. Same with the Masters of the Universe Classics Castle Grayskull, which I pre-ordered way back when they were pushing to get it made. Had to cancel as I don't have the room for such big toys right now.

BoA's exclusives have tended to have a premium paint job. If so, I'd much rather get this one than the retail one.
Also, this is not the same sculpt as the Super Legends one. There are wrist joints where there weren't before, and the staff is different. The SL Zedd staff didn't have the point. Unfortunately, it will probably be too short for Figuarts. My guess is that it will be in scale with the current 5 inch figures, which are a bit shorter. |

I guess two things.
The SDCC Exclusive will have grenades. or Big Idea. SDCC Zedd comes with a throne. 0_0 Last edited by Rita Repulsa; 07-02-2014 at 12:01 AM.. |

While that would be cool, this is almost 100% certainly just an early release "shared exclusive" type thing. TRU and Entertainment Earth share exclusive distribution rights to this figure and so EE is releasing it early to the public at SDCC is all. It's not an exclusive as in, an exclusive to the show, just that it'll be sold exclusively at their booth.

It is the same toy though. There is no bicep swivel, ankle pivots, or an abcrunch. Those three are very important to me when it comes to posseability.

So according to Entertainment Earth, Lord Zedd will be $20 at their booth at SDCC. Which seems to be his implied retail price here in the US at TRU as well. Odd that there's no real markup
