Ah, the movie tie-in episodes. These are a lot of fun. The more wacky hijinks with Yuuto and Deneb, the better. |

These movie tie-ins are what initially sold me on the series. The geniusness of them being a direct link and sharing continuity with the film via preludes and spoilers. I just loved it. Its the best integration of film and series for a rider show ever (in my horribly biased opinion).

Most convoluted movie tie in ever.

I feel like it's makes perfect sense. It's the best movie tie in for a rider show. It actually ties into the show and becomes part of it.

Gotta say - I did absolutely love how this movie was handled when I watched it. It felt like it mattered, unlike most.

When you think about it, the show tying in with the movie has only been done two times. Once with Den-O and again this year with Gaim. Three if you count Decade/New Den-O movie, Onigashima Battleship.

Edit: Coffee-tachi 26 More movie tie-in. I really should have started counting how many times Yuuto transforms. I'm curious to see if they really stuck to the 8 card limit or if they fudged it and hoped no one would notice. Stargazing flashback count: 5 Last edited by Switchblade; 08-08-2014 at 02:29 PM.. |
