Recently we found out that Shout Factory, the company that brought you Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, VR Troopers, Ultra Q, Transformers Headmasters, and much much more to DVD was facing the issue of having to cancel the remaining volume of Beetleborgs Metallix. Sales numbers simply weren't high enough for the 3 previous Beetleborgs volumes and currently the final volumes release is in question at best.
We've also been teased by Bluefin that Bandai Tamashii may have interest in producing Jukou B-Fighter/Big Bad Beetleborgs S.H.Figuarts! But they needed to know they had the support of the broader toku community to make these things happen. Bluefin is asking fans to speak up if they want to see these figures happen and Shout Factory needs to move Beetleborg DVD sets. The bottom line is that now is the time to make these things happen. Do you want to see that final DVD volume or the potential S.H.Figuarts? Jukou B-Fighter, Big Bad Beetleborgs, B-Fighter Kabuto, and Beetleborgs Metallix are all on the line here! So here's Tokunation's contribution to that effort. A special gallery for you of 3 vintage B-Fighter Kabuto Action Fighter figures; the titular hero B-Fighter Kabuto, B-Fighter Kuwaga, and B-Fighter Tento! If you want to see the final volume of Beetleborgs make it to DVD or you want to see Bandai make B-Fighter/Beetleborgs S.H.Figuarts then give us a shout out here for this gallery. And take the message to the Bluefin Facebook Page or the Bluefin Twitter, hit up the Shout Factory Facebook page and spread the word on their Twitter too! Get the word out that the tokusatsu community wants it's B-Fighters and Beetleborgs!

Man, Beetleborgs...How the hell long's it been since I watched it?!?
Way to reboot the memory circuits there. Kudos.

Look at those awesome metalic chrome parts... D:
Even though I'm a not hardcore Metalhero fan, B-Fighter series looks so cool.

I've honestly got zero interest in beetleborgs, but if we got figuarts I'd probably grab them to go with groundain/skydain and the space sheriffs

It always bugged me how these figures were chromed everywhere but the knees and feet.

I like how they are in scale somewhat with Gavan, so I guess that means they are with most all SHFs?

I'd say a massive YES to S.H.F B-Fighters, & a thundering "I don't give a damn!" about anything Beetleborgs!! Well, about anything Saban actually...

Yeah, I really never cared for Beetleborgs.
... But I'm still going to support the idea of these being made and put the word out on both those respective Facebook pages. Because I want my fellow tokusatsu fans to be happy and to be able to complete a TV series they enjoy, because I know what it's like to be burned by not having a favorite series fully released on DVD. |
