See, you say that. But I would completely by into a sentai series where the mecha were shaped/colored like actual planets that become mechs and then combine. Like Origami from Shinken but with planets. Maybe even a midway weaponized mode.

I'm hoping for cool spaceship zords. Especially since if patterns hold, Saban will skip Minecraftger and go straight to whatever this will be after Super Ninja Steel. Space ships can look like almost anything, so there should be no shortage of creative ideas. (that are also good)
I also wouldn't mind decent space-themed suits, but I'm honestly expecting something really goofy there. Or constellation animals if they are truly going the goofy route.

I'd still like something resembling a proper humanoid form for a change. Not saying everything needs to be Wild Force. But it'd help. |

Please let it take place in a school with a rebel leader with outlandish hair as the red ranger, have evil constellation MOTWs, and the rangers uses switches to transform.

No kidding. I haven't seriously liked Sentai mecha since Go-Busters, and that's still iffy due to many of the combined modes. (I still think Buster Ace was fantastic.)
I kinda liked Shurikenjin, save for the hat, but I enjoyed Ninninger's early mecha more for the wacky concept than for their execution. ToQger, meh. As much as I enjoy Zyuohger, I consider them to be the worse Sentai mecha I've seen so far. Sadly, Kyuranger is going to have to compete with Solar Saver for my affection. Ever since I saw that design, I've had a hard time swallowing Sentai's recent, ultra-gimmicky mecha. I... may be setting myself up for disappointment in this regard. There's no indication of Bandai/Toei trending away from gimmicks, and the Zyuoger mecha suggests they're going for ever greater simplicity and appeal to even younger viewers. |

I just hope that the suit designs and the mecha is very impressive. Megaranger was a space theme and I want this show to be just as good as that one was.
