Gun and Sword forms are ny favorite Den-O forms so this is definitely on my wishlist.
That said, I don't have any problems with the proportions on the old ones so if I can't afford this I'll just buy the old ones, which should see a decreasing price value on the aftermarket. Either way, win-win for me! |

They could pull this out at the last moment but I think it's unlikely. |

I highly doubt it’s happening tonight. The Marvel/Star Wars drop is to coincide with Tokyo Comic Con, and we don’t have proper Bandai images for this yet.
So I’d say beginning of next month as usual is more likely.

Not necessarily. Parts-swapping gimmicks, if the customer actually uses them, run the risk of quickly wearing out a figure, and every swapped part presents another potential QC concern. People shelling out $80 for a new figure should reasonably expect it to be relatively sturdy.
Though I will be sad if its two forms in one, as I’ll have to get a second one just to display gun form.. which means $$$$ Last edited by Waka; 11-21-2019 at 07:10 PM.. |

£65 is a bit pricey for me, especially as it means it'll have to go through customs. It makes me sad, but I think I'll have to skip on him. The choice is made easier though by knowing a Figure-Rise is happening.

Awww.
I REALLY hoped they would ditch those additional split elbow and knee joints. Recent report here on the breakage of the new elbow joint on SHF SS OOO confirmed my worry about the weakness of those over-engineered joints. |

Thinking it over actually... I think this is probably the alternate forms set that annoys me the most.
Like, I'm fine with it for the Zi-O and Build stuff. Woz Finaly's forms and TankTank's turret thing are very minor stuff that are mostly for alternate attacks/finishers; and while Geiz Revive and Evol's forms are much more major, at the very least they never exist at the same time and unless you're a massive completionist you're unlikely to really want both at the same time. In all these cases, the downside of wanting to display the forms all at once is nothing compared to the upside of having a lot more display options. Very few people are likely to want Evol Phase 2 on its own and it's served much better as an optional set of display pieces than a separate purchase. ... but Den-O's forms are probably the ones that matter the most of any Kamen Rider forms. Gun Form isn't a super minor thing like Kiva Bassha or Wizard Water Style or Zero-One's Flying Falcon -- all four non-upgrade forms are treated as not just extremely important, but as completely separate characters! There's multiple times especially in movies where they even all appear together and have great line-up shots together and are treated occasionally almost as separate riders than as forms of the same one, and having the four together is extremely iconic. So this is definitely one of those cases where you'd want both Sword and Gun form rather than having them as separate display options, and more people are likely gonna want to buy this set twice more than they'd get Evol or Geiz Revive twice. ... I'm kinda not happy with this, all in all.
