Pretty sure the majority of geeks out to grab said comics have either a wider interest and knowledge of PR, or at least watched until Zeo.
Considering the canon twisting and imaginative take this Boom series has taken, I doubt nostalgia-filter readers will be that interested in Lord Drakkon or the off formula structure of the story to begin with. You want more than MMPR and want something else? Well others want more MMPR. Just because you want something doesn't mean the entire fandom does. I've said it from the beginning and I'll say it again. People want different things, respect that man. Doesn't mean you can't put your opinion out there just stop framing it like you have the entire fandom or any majority of it behind you screaming the same thing. |

Oh and hey you're right you did get me on some mindless optimism. Nothing what so ever says we will get different seasons. I screwed up and was a hypocrite.
Now do you want to admit to any mindless unsubstantiated second hand claims spat out as fact? |

Wow, talk about the most worthless argument I've ever seen. It's literally "They should do something past MMPR" and "Stop attacking other people's opinions" while condescendingly attacking person 1's opinion
Anyway, this comic sounds boring as fuck. Teenage superhero drama was revolutionary back when Marvel did it in the 60's. I honestly don't feel PR can bring anything new that the billions of high school hero comics Marvel and DC toss out haven't already done.

Doesn't look like you felt the need to speak for anyone but yourself in your last paragraph. Call me out for whatever, I'll call out those that speak out their ass just to give credit to their own opinion. |

Right, because speaking on behalf of large groups of a fandom is purely his opinion and shouldn't be called out.

Since you seem to basically think I'm lying and speaking out of my ass, your turn. Show me people who have specifically said they want More MMPR. And only MMPR. Since you seem to feel you're defending them from me. Your quick to dismiss anything from me as mindless unsubstantiated second hand claims, but you provide little if any evidence of your own, all the while telling me to shut up and wait. You want to "call out those that speak out their ass just to give credit to their own opinion"? Start with yourself. All you have been doing is escalating for the sake of making yourself out as this bastion of fandom shielding. Like we all need to run our opinions by you. I've met people, random people at my comic book store and more elsewhere, who tend to be the ones go for this kind of thing. You don't want to believe, fine. What does that matter?

You asked someone for evidence of a show being a hit or not. Would you have accepted "oh I talk to people at my comic shop and they tell me how much they like it."? Ridiculous. I'm standing up to your asinine know it all bull crap because I don't want someone talking for me or anyone else. Sorry everyone for sticking up for your right to not be told how the fandom feels about a certain piece of fictional media. That's just me talking for you and I should be ashamed. |

I'm just going to say this. I don't care what the hell this is all about, but please stop. Nobody is speaking for anybody. We can only speak for ourselves. So stop this stupid arguement please? It's just going in curcles.

So because I'm saying believe whatever you want but only speak for yourself that's me pushing my opinion on you? You don't even know my opinion, I haven't given it. The closest I got was saying i want other seasons just like you.

Sorry everyone for sticking up for your right to not be told how the fandom feels about a certain piece of fictional media. That's just me talking for you and I should be ashamed. You do realize LockonStratos, FormerTitanium, and MnemonicSyntax have brought up people they know or met that have opinions that aren't solely theirs. Do wish to confirm with them that yes, Titanium's co-workers remember Lost Galaxy, Syntax's wife remembers the ninjas because of the 1st movie, and Stratos is around people who don't talk about LG? Because you seem to think I'm the only one doing so. I was responding to them before you felt the need to get knighted up for "everyone else". And actually yeah, I would have been fine with someone saying they're group of friends or coworkers like a certain thing. Pretty sure FormerTitanium did that exactly. I don't feel the need to suspect people of lying over fucking Power Rangers. But clearly that's something worth making a big deal about. Quote:
Hey how about this, instead of assuming what people want why not ask them? Let's make a thread about what we want to see in the BOOM universe. We could be constructive and happy instead of pissed off because MMPR is "overhyped".
And by all means, I have no problem with what other people want in Boom's series. The only one objecting to how people should react, so far, is you. Did I tell Yellow Ranger they should care for something outside of MMPR? No, if they fine with this good for them. Did I tell Matrix not to be dismissive of the comic in general? No, but mostly because I've been around long enough to know Matrix exists on their own sphere, and what I like barely syncs with what they like. Whereas you contradict yourself and get pissed when they speak only for themselves, while you go on and act like YOU speak for everyone else.
