As the title says.
Because of all these posts lately regarding the quality of the multiple eras of Power Rangers, I am curious what the overall opinion is on this forum. The eras as listed on this poll are taken from the Rangerwiki. I chose the Post-Zordon Era. Though it was a hard choice between it and the Disney Era, as I consider the majority of both their seasons to be good, I just like the overall tone of the Post-Zordon era a bit more. While the Disney Era experimented with different tones, like having goofy series like PRNS and more serious ones like PRRPM, the Post-Zordon Era kept this semi-serious tone I just prefer. |

I'm a Zordon Era person. MMPR-PRIS were the seasons that actually told an overall story that connected all the seasons and made them feel like they were part of the same universe. I mean, yes, the post Zordon Era rangers took place in the same universe, but seldom had any kind of connection to the previous Rangers.
All of the Disney Era Rangers seem to lack that. They seem to be set in their own universes and always seem to be first time they've ever existed (with the accpetance of PRDT because of Tommy) And then there's the Neo-Saban era that attempts to reconnect the series' together. PRS/SS tries it by bringing Bulk and Skull back. Then PRMF/SMF tries with the whole "past ranger powers" gimmick from Gokaiger. Which wouldn't have been a bad thing if they hadn't had soo many continuity errors. And then PRDC/DSC which seems to retcon the entire universe because of it's finale. Don't get me wrong, I like PRDC/DSC, but that finale just messed everything up.

Honestly, for me, this is a case of which is better: Time Force or RPM?
However, I think splitting the Zordon eras isn't worth it, since the post-Zordon, pre-Disney era is only 3 shows (Wasn't Wild Force like, 90% Disney?) Even still, I'm voting for Post-Zordon because I found myself enjoying Time Force a little more than RPM, even if it had it's more...Cheesy moments.

Maybe its a nostalia thing but I vividly remember watching all those shows from Lost Galaxy into Wild Force which even though disney owned it after the first half (Thus the move from Fox to ABC) was still my favorite of that group. I have my favorites for each era and each one had its own uniqueness to it but the Post-Zordon Era has my vote

I have good moments with the Zordon Era and Post-Zordon Era.

I guess this is done because of the drastic change in style between PRIS and PRLG. About PRWF: Again, the Rangerwiki lists PRWF as a Post-Zordon season. But this time, I agree with them. I still consider it a Saban season, as production started when Saban still had the rights and the season kept the same production team the previous Saban seasons had. In terms of style, it very much feels like a Saban season to me. |

Sure, it's only 3 series, but there's a significant style difference.
And I'm not totally biased because those 3 were my entry point into the franchise. |

I don't really feel there's much of a difference, really. Lost Galaxy tried it's hardest to be PRIS: Part 2. Lightspeed Rescue was a bit larger of a difference (While LG and LR had removed the "Teenager" part of the equation by making the heroes 20 somethings (In universe), IS had abandoned the high school aspect super early on (And having our heroes in high school was basically the only way to make them resemble teens)). Time Force was markedly different, but Wild Force felt the most return to form, and most resembled a Zordon season.

Disney era. Reason is because to me each season felt different from the last to me. Also they explored new aspects each time like how Ninja storm was they were in a ninja academy and Spd was about an intergalactic police force. I just liked that also I feel Disney just did a better job at story telling. I mean the zordon era was cool and I liked it but Disney just caught me a bit more with all its series while I only really paid attention to Lightspeed Rescue, Time force and Wildforce

The Ninja Academy in Ninja Storm was destroyed 5 minutes into the first episode. They were still beginning, but there was never an academy/school aspect to the show.
